Disclaimer: I do not own Charlie or Amita. I also do not ship the two, in fandom or the show, but this plot bunny came on so strong I had to write it.

Letters to Charlie

It's acceptable to have a crush on your teacher, she knows, but not acceptable to act on it. Especially when you're engaged.

So to cope Amita writes letters to Charlie, letters she knows she'll never send.

Dear Charlie… you don't understand me, and I'll never understand you. And the paradox is that, in acknowledging this, we do- in a way- understand one another.

I'm the only person, Amita thinks bitterly, who would use the word 'paradox' in a love letter.

She crumples it and throws it to the floor, where it lays amidst the corpses of other letters she's abandoned.
