* Baka *
It was the middle of lunch period at Toyko-3 High School. A lone male student stood in the hallway, retrieving a book from his locker for his next class. As he closed his locker then noticed another person down the hall. He could not believe his eyes as he witnessed Hikari Horaki snooping around Asuka Soryu's locker.
'Why is the class rep snooping around Soryu's locker?' he thought as he moved to get a better look, but Hikari had vanished without a trace.
'Now I'm going crazy…' he thought as the bell rang out, signaling the beginning of class. He hurried off so that he would not be any later than he already was.
The school day went on for three more hours before the end-of-class bell finally tang and all the students filed out of class and to their lockers. Asuka checked her locker to retrieve her books when a flood of love letters poured out onto the floor at her feet. She angrily stomped on the letters and ground them beneath her heel.
"Pathetic boys…" she grumbled as she slammed her locker and prepared to leave, but halted as an unusual letter caught her eye. She bent down and picked it up; the unusual pink and girly handwriting on the front causing it to stand out from the other letters.
'Never gotten a letter like this before…' Asuka thought as she ripped the letter open. On the pink paper inside was a single line of very feminine writing:
'Meet me in the park after school.'
Asuka felt in a curious mood and decided she would humor whoever wrote the letter, if anything she would have someone to pummel that day. She stuffed the letter into her skirt pocket and exited the school, making her way towards the park.

Class representative Hikari Horaki nervously crouched behind a tree, wringing her hands and obviously anxious over something.
'I wonder if she'll come…I hope she read the letter,' Hikari thought as she tried to calm the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. After five long minutes of waiting, Asuka came walking through the park gate, and sat on a bench close to where Hikari was hiding.
'C'mon, Hikari, you can do this,' she gulped hard as she tried to build up the courage she needed to confess her feelings.
'But…I'm a girl, she'll never accept my feelings,' Hikari dispiritedly thought. After much internal debate, she finally worked up the courage to confront Asuka. But just as she was about to reveal herself, the worst possible thing happened.
Shinji was out on a walk through the park after school and spotted Asuka sitting on a bench.
"Hey, Asuka," Shinji greeted as he walked up to her, but stumbled back as Asuka blew up at him.
"You?" she practically screamed as she stood up and pointed an accusatory finger at Shinji. "You sent me that stupid letter?"
Shinji trembled in terror as Asuka advanced on him.
"Asuka, I don't know-" but Asuka cut him off.
"I can't believe I actually came here when you wrote that dumb letter, I should've known a wimp like you would have such girly handwriting!" Asuka advanced on Shinji further and slapped him.
"Baka!" she yelled before storming out of the park. Shinji soon followed after her, complete bewilderment written all over his face.
Hikari rose from her hiding place and slowly walked out of the park, tears dripping down her cheeks as she went. Her hopes of ever confessing her feelings to Asuka were completely gone.
