hey
this is from the POV of Ginny, obviously
please reveiw! even flames!
They See Untrue
They see a face, they think they know
But I really know what it means
They see a smile, black messy hair,
I see the thoughts behind the front
The weariness, the work
The sickness of it all,
The wishes it would just simply stop
Or something end it all
They coo and sigh
Pretend to know
I know though:
What is unknown
I know those wishes of an end
The hopes of understanding
The need of solid basics
Even then throughout it all
I wish I could help it all
Where does it start?
Where does it end?
They see those eyes, changing green
I see the haunting dreams
The thoughts of misery
The hopes of love
The need of comfort from above
The force of publicity
The press of media
Those annoying questions never end
The flash of light from cameras there
The scar beneath the jet black hair
I see the shadows, the scars inside
The mental wounding never subsides
I hear some padding outside my door
The softness of them belongs to him
Following slowly, waiting patiently
I see him sit down in a seat
I watch him cry and hold his head
I come behind him
Embrace him then
Let all the worries out, I whispered
I pulled him over to the bed
And sat with him as he shed
Those tears unshed until that moment
The ones held fast for much to long
I pulled my fingers through that hair
The messy
Unruly
Jet black hair
I held him close
Heard his breath
Murmured even while he slept
Told him not to worry when
It all just simply comes to end
They didn't see the bruises there
The ones beneath
The ones inside
Those closest to him did not understand
They did not try
I saw him long ago
Knew what would come to pass
And waited for this moment fast
It has come and I help him now
Help him now…
