"After a hard mission, Natsu, Lucy and Happy were walking down a sparkling beach, shoes off, with the most beautifully dazzling, crimson sunset shining on the icy waves of the midnight blue sea.
"So how's your arm Luce," Natsu said with a deep worry full expression and what Lucy swore was a light tinted pink spread across his cheeks.
'Since when did Natsu blush?' but Lucy quickly brushed the thought aside as she answered, "It's fine why do you always have to make such a big deal out of my injuries and not everyone else's," Lucy then playfully added, "a am a big girl ya know."
"Yeah, yeah I know it's just I worry about you," Natsu said turning his head away and Lucy noticed the pink turn a darker red as he did so,
"'cuz your special to me, ya know," and that got Lucy blushing just as Natsu turned his head back to see it and his eyes widened before a huge, fang toothed grin appeared on face.
"So, ummm, say Lucy isn't it a wonderfully beautiful sunset," and Happy, as to getting a signal, flew so high into the sky he disappeared and they could no longer see the blue cat.
"Looking back down at the sunset, her hazel brown eyes glistening like the reflection of the sea, "y-yeah," Lucy said remembering all the story's she's read about kissing in front of sunsets causing her blush to grow.
"So Luce l've been thinking," Natsu said running in front before turning around to face her and Lucy replayed, "well that not usually a good thing."
"Yeah, well I was and I found something out that I always new but had to think hard to get and I still don't get it because this something is really weird," Natsu rambled on and then there was a moment of silence before Lucy asked, "well aren't you going to tell me what that 'something' is?"
"Natsu pondered for a second before her answered before teasingly saying, "well I don't know if I should, do you really want to know?"
"Lucy, not liking his tone thrust her hands on her hips and said proud and confidently, "Yes, yes I do, so tell me."
"Ok," there was silence again before Natsu smiled and cheerfully elaborated, "I Love You!"
Lucy stood there gaping, blushing and silent.
"Natsu's heart sank, realising Natsu's falling expression and knowing how she felt about him, Lucy realised she needed to do something quick, so she grabbed his one sleeved shirt and pulled him down and their lips met.
"Lucy tugged at his bottom lip with her teeth and they both opened their mouths letting each other in.
"Lucy tasted exactly like she smelled, like roses and honey while Natsu's was hot and fiery, nether of them could get enough as their tongues swirled around their mouths letting out groan after groan but not caring about their oxygen intake, they just kept kissing.
"Well until Lucy did run out of breath and pulled away leaving both of them speechless and panting.
After a few minutes of silence Lucy spoke.
"I love you too."
