The Precursor Race

There are many ruins that would suggest a precursor race, one that possibly created Master. These are a mysterious people, whose ancient monoliths, towers, and artifacts can be found throughout the different Realms. It is speculated that certain weapons and gems were crafted by these people. These are:

Excalibur – The Sword of Kings, the Blade of Creation, et al. This powerful blade bears witness to eons of use, even before the Lady Faye gifted it to Arthur. Legend says that it was laid to rest with Arthur. However, the Illuminati found and presented the weapon to Jacob, unknowingly setting him on the path as one of the Ancient Blood. It is currently in the possession of Jacob Auron.

The Gamemasters Blade – It is speculated that this weapon is in fact the Durindana, the Sword of Light. Currently in the possession of Anthony Bault.

The Rift Sword – It is speculated that this weapon is in fact the weapon Evangieas, Sword of the Five Star Element. It is currently in the possession of Jeff VanVraken.

Chaos Emeralds(Server, Et. Al) – These are speculated to be a power source of the Ancients, perhaps some type of renewable energy container, or possibly even similar to the Eldar Wraithstones (Bearers of the Warriors). These are currently in the hand of their respective owners.

These are only a few of the examples of artifacts found in Arcadia. The following are sites dedicated to or built be the Ancient Race.

The HALO's – Weapons that are spread throughout HA-001 Realm. Currently, two of seven have been destroyed at the Hand of the Earthling, Master Chief. The weapons are large enough to host a myriad of shrines and places of reverence. With the disbanding of the Prophets, and the Destruction of the Ark, the five remaining HALOs are being sought by the new Coalition of Alien Races.

Hall of the Ancients – This was found on an Xeno Artifact world discovered by the Adeptus Machinus. This was discovered in the Galactic eastern fringe, near to the fledgling Tau Empire. It was first thought to be a Necrontyr Shrine, until recent explorator vessels were found torn by some unknown force. It is speculated that there is a guardian of the shrine, one that will only allow those whose eyes are unclouded by hate to enter. It is closely watched over by Deathwatch and Grey Knight Chapters.

The Galactic Leyline – Believed to be discovered by the Kei Pirates, this Artifact Contains a vast amount of knowledge, even more so than the fabled Eldar Black Library. Its current whereabouts are unknown.

Azurite Pillars and the Amethyst Wall on the World of HOME – When First discovered by Jacob, he though he had just ended up in some dark fields. It wasn't until he looked up and saw the Triple Moons that he knew that there was something special about this world. It was under this light that he saw the Temples and Shrines of an ancient race, and he knew that he had found his home. Currently, all resources of HOME are set towards the War against the Illuminati.

These are but a few examples of a speculated exsistence of a precursor race.

Further examples of this race are even found on a Range of earth realms, including Jacob's, Jeff's, Anthony's, and even the HALO and 40K realms. This can be seen in the ancient cultures of the Babylonians and the Sumerians. These cultures trace bloodlines and genealogies of various 'gods' and deities, often depicting these gods with goggle-like and bubble-like apparatus around their head. It is speculated by one Sitchin that these 'gods' were in fact a race of beings not of this world. It is also speculated that this race dragged humanity out of its nomadic roots and planted it firmly in the first civilizations of the world.
