This is my first D.Gray-man story. I tried my best to keep the characters in chara but this might not be my best work because I wrote it at 3 in the morning. xD
I don't own D.Gray and I hope you enjoy this short story and review!
Allen hated orange juice. It was too tangy and ugh, it just made his face scrunch up. Rabi, on the other hand, loved it. He usually drank it after breakfast, or maybe it was the only thing for breakfast before running off to school. Lenalee didn't really have an opinion on orange juice. If it was there she'd drink it without complaint. But if it were her choice, she'd much rather have a sweeter drinks, such as some tea with a bit of sugar. And Kanda? He really didn't care, just like a lot of things.
Allen stared down at the tall glass filled with the orange liquid. His thoughts slowly started to flow in; his vision getting lost in the bright color. Breakfast at Rabi's was fun. They'd all cram into the small kitchen, sitting at that tiny table. Kanda always would complain and threaten to leave and eat else where. They knew he wouldn't really leave. The one time he did try, Rabi managed to drag him back inside and he came back quite willingly. His excuse: 'it was cold outside'.
Allen loved it. He loved it when they were all together. They'd all come over early in the morning and cook. Lenalee often complained at the lack of food, that wasn't instant, in Rabi's kitchen. 'There's not enough food in here to at least make a decent meal.' She'd start in, planning to take them all shopping for some food later.
Allen couldn't help but laugh inwardly. They'd all complain about little things here and there but they were all happy for the most part. Most people would find it silly to see them act like this. He found his current problem quiet silly himself. At Rabi's house they always had, well of course, orange juice. Allen thought of it as rude not to drink what he was offered but his most hated orange juice? He loves almost anything else, but for some reason, for as long as he can remember, orange juice as always been his enemy.
The boy slowly put the cup to his lips. He closed his eyes and tried his best not to look like he was disgusted by drinking the liquid. After about two small sips of orange juice he heard a giggle from Lenalee. Allen opened one eye and glance at her.
"Good job." She whispered over Rabi's loud chitchat, holding back another giggle.
Allen chuckled, and Lenalee smiled a pleasant smile; which made him think that maybe, drinking orange juice wasn't so bad after all.
