A lone silhoutte walked the dark empty halls of Hogwarts. The only sound was the clicking of the mary-janes she wore. She was 5 ft 5. She was still wearing her school uniform, which was now wrinkled. Her skin was pale and her brown eyes had dark circles under them. Her wavy chestnut hair, hung in a loose ponytail.
She finally made it to her destination, the girls lavatory. She quietly steped in and made her way to the mirror. What she saw was horrifying. Her eyes were sunken in from lack of sleep and she was very thin from not eating.
Her life was worthless.
Her parents ignored her and her two best friends had girlfriends.
Harry had Ginny.
Ron had Lavender.
And the on person she was truly in love with, was untouchable.
She was a mudblood. He was a pureblood. He would never find her worthy enough.
The girl made her way to the last stall in the bathroom.
Slowly she closed the door, locked it and put a silencing spell on the room.
Her body lowered to sit on the floor and held her legs close to herself.
"No one will miss me." she said softly to herself.
She fumbled in her pocket and pulled out a small square rectangular object. A razor blade.
She looked at the piece of shiny metal. Who ever knew that something that small could take away all the pain in the world.
She pulled a piece of parchment out of her other pocket, and layed it neatly on the floor.
The broken hearted girl then pulled up her shirts sleeve and held out her wrist.
As quick as lightning, she pulled the sharp metal across her skin, breaking the surface, watching crimsion blood flow out if her body.
A single tear fell down her cheek as she layed herself down on the floor.
Energy was quickly leaving her body. Her breathing slowed and her vision was becoming blury.
Her eyes fluttered closed as she took her last breath.
Hogwarts was in an uproar. A student had committed suicide. But not just any student. The Head Girl. A Gryffindor.
Many students were shocked and upset. None more than 2 Gryffindor boys.
They had lost someone who meant the world to them. The thing they regretted was never telling her that. The blamed themselves for her death.
Hogwarts held a memorial service for this beloved student.
A blonde haired Slytherin held the bloody piece of parchment in his hands, the one he found next to her when he discovered her body.
" A life with no love, is no life at all. So I ended mine. I hope to be reunited on the other side with the one little dragon I have always loved.
Hermione J Granger"
Hermione was in a field full of delicate white lillies. The warm yellow sun shone in the cloudless blue sky.
She was wearing a white long dress, with sheer puffy sleeves. Her hair had pink ribbions intertwined in her curls. Her eyes shone brightly.
The breeze was warm as she swung on the cherry wood swing under an apple tree, a visible white scar on her right wrist, a reminder of how she died.
She looked up to see a figure walking in her direction. His blond hair blew in the wind and his blue eyes were sparkling. He looked like an angel in his white suite.
She jumped off the swing and ran into his waiting arms, when he picked her up and swung her around.
He set her back on the grass and captured her lips in his.
After a moment they pulled apart.
"I didn't expect you this soon" she said smiling.
"Well like you said, a life with no love is no life at all. So I decided I needed to be with mine." he said smiling.
" I would have waited forever" she said as she layed her head on his chest.
"You waited long enough already, and so have I." he said as he wrapped his arms around her.
"How did you do it?" she asked.
He moved his shirt so she could she the white long gash, right above his heart.
Hermione intertwined her hand in his and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I love you, Hermione."
"I love you too, Draco" .
The two walked off into the bright light, together, for all eternity.
