Sebastian smiled, staring at his wife. The Fallen Angel returned the demon's gaze with her ice blue eyes, her gaze was flooding with adoration. Her pure-white, silken hair framed her narrow face perfectly. Sebastian gently cupped her jaw with his hand, bringing her in for a surprisingly gentle kiss.

"Francesca, I love you," Sebastian whispered. The Fallen Angel's smile broadened.

"I love you too, Sebastian," she whispered back. They were about to kiss again, until the cries of their newborn son broke the silence. Francesca got up from the bed, kissing Sebastian's forehead. She then made her way to the oak wood crib she had used what little magic she had left after being cast out of heaven to create. Francesca picked up the tiny, white-haired boy, who quickly softened his cries. The newborn hybrid squirmed against his mother, making gurgling sounds that caused both parents to laugh. The Fallen Angel sat beside her husband with their baby in her arms. Sebastian smiled at their son, Ezekiel, and tickled him. The baby giggled and squirmed even more.

"In the two days he's been alive, Ezekiel hasn't remained still for even a moment!" Francesca laughed.

"Yes, he is a very energetic and endearing little creature," Sebastian chuckled. The boy looked so much like his mother, but Sebastian's mark was left in the form of one amber eye and black nails. "I'd do anything for them," Sebastian thought. "Anything."

Sebastian sighed wistfully, staring at the rock and wooden cross that marked his lover's grave. She had been killed years ago, but that didn't lead him to miss her any less. He left three roses, one white, one red, and one black at her grave-site. Oh how he wished she could have seen their Ezekiel grow up. Sebastian stiffened while thinking of the life they could have had, but he stopped himself, knowing he had no time for such nonsense. He couldn't change the past no matter how much he wanted to. On top of that, he had a duty to fulfill as the Phantomhive head butler anyway. The demon turned away from his Francesca's grave to return to London.

"Goodbye once again, my love. I still feel guilt that I had not done more to protect you and our child," Sebastian whispered before disappearing.
