Rain

A dark night. A falling sky. A wet world. A new song?

Fall

Toward the earth

Remember?

As it floods

Do you remember?

The wishing are dreaming

Tonight

The crying are wistfully calling out

As the world ends

Cold.

17 year old Kouyama Mitsuki stopped and smiled. This is getting better, she thought to herself. She called out to her manager, Oshige Masami, "Oshige-san, I'm going home now!"

"Alright, but be careful, Mitsuki-chan. We don't want Fullmoon to get hurt like she did last time!"

Mitsuki winced as she remembered the incident that had hospitalized her for a month and made her forget part of her memory. "A freak accident" was what the investigator had called it, but she definitely didn't want to go through that again, especially since she hadn't regained all of her memories back yet.

She carefully stepped out of the large recording studio, making sure there were no cars like the last time. The last time. Suddenly, she saw what appeared to be a pair of headlights rushing toward her in the darkness. Then everything went black.

------------------------------

"Mitsuki? Mitsuki! Can you hear me? Mitsuki!"

"Mmm…?" Mitsuki felt a hand touching hers. With much effort, she opened her eyes.

"Mitsuki!" Oshige-san saw her and hugged her tightly. "I was so worried….! You were getting out of the building when you just collapsed. Luckily Kira Takuto-san saw you fall and brought you here, where they contacted me."

For the first time, Mitsuki got a good look at her surroundings. She was in what a appeared to be a clean white hospital room, with several shairs drawn up the bed where she was lying. The room was brightly lit, but it still had the lingering scent of despair under the heavy odor of antiseptic and bleach. On the night table was what looked like the contents of a whole florist's shop and several pounds of chocolates.

Oshige-san saw where she was staring and said, "From your fans. You've been here for two days just unconscious. Everyone was really worried and you got about a gazillion letters too."

"Um…Oshige-san?"

"Yes?"

"Y-you mentioned a Kira Takuto-san? Wh-who is he?" she asked, her voice still a bit shaky from just waking up.

Her manager opened her mouth to reply, but before she could say anything, a young man who looked around nineteen or so with dark hair and intense blue eyes walked in. "Speak of the devil," she said under her breath. Out loud she said, "Mi- I mean Fullmoon-san, meet Kira Takuto, a singer currently working for SEED Records, and the man, er, boy, er, person who kept you from being run over."

There was a short pause as Takuto and Mitsuki examined each other. Mitsuki spoke first. "Kira-san, thank you for helping me. I really owe my life to you," she said, sitting up and bowing.

"It was nothing," he said, dismissing her thanks with a wave of his hand. She really is prettier in person, he thought to himself as he took in her upturned face. Too bad I gave up on that kind of stuff.

Mitsuki refused to let him go. "To thank you, I would like to be able to buy you lunch. Or if you don't care for food, at least allow me to buy you a gift."

He shook his head slowly. "It really was no big deal. If you really have to get me something, go ahead. But I don't really need anything."

So Fullmoon (incognito) and Kira Takuto (also incognito, for some reason) went to the Fresh Garden café for lunch, since Mitsuki insisted. Mitsuki was in a long tan overcoat, black gloves, and sunglasses, along with a long red wig.
