He's alright, or so Aomine thought. It feels like dreaming, no scratch that, it feels like a nightmare. He wakes up every morning alone, he wandered outside to get himself some girl and hook up with her, but he would end up getting dissatisfied and went home after he have given the girl her wishes. His house is a mess, but he couldn't care less. He would always watch some petty TV on his bedroom and would always eat instant foods. He never eats instant foods, not until they've parted ways.

Kise and Aomine had a very beautiful relationship. They've made promises to each other, promises of forever. They've held each other as if they'd never see each other again. Do silly things together and above all, they've loved each other. But why breakup? Maybe they realized that they we're far too young for forever's , realized that they have a bright future ahead of them and so they've parted ways. All those memories; bad and good. Comes rushing back to Aomine as he lays on his bed and stare at the ceiling with blank sapphire eyes. A lone tear flows from Aomine's eyes, followed by another until it flows like a river. Aomine doesn't cry for he is a man but it's been a year since they parted and now he wants to ask Kise. How was your year?

Kise is a model. He flashes bright smiles and put on that mask which everyone admires. Little did they know, behind those bright smiles and melodic laughs hides the pain inside. After they parted ways, he moved on and lived a peaceful life, thinking he's okay but truthfully, he isn't. He always comes home alone, he always cooks for one, and he doesn't get morning kisses. It's been like this for the past months but as he came to realize that he can't finish his works due on time, he can't come on the venue on time and his house is a mess. He realizes he cannot go on without Aomine.

They've had a fruitful relationship. It was a big shock to him when Aomine confesses to him in one of those one-on-one games they had way back in highschool, he remembers how Aomine tastes when he was kissing him, how tight the other's embrace is and above all, how sincere his 'i love you' is. Their breakup had a big impact to him, he isolated himself from the the outside and he always cried himself to sleep. Maybe if they were a little mature back then, maybe if they knew back then what they knew now, their relationship would be much better now. Endless regrets. Endless pains. That's how his one year has been.

Now as they accidentally bump into each other at a park where they usually play one-on-one. Both celebrating their suppose monthsary. They find themselves sitting in a bench under a tree. Warm breeze touching their faces. Silence enveloped them, not the awkward kind of silence but a comfortable. Even after all those months, even after the pain they've cause each other, they can still have some comfortable silence enveloping them. It's like destiny wanted for them to meet and be together again.

"So, um... how are you Aomine?" Could your feelings perhaps be the same as mine?

"I'm okay. Doing fine. How about you?" Will you give me another chance?

"Doing fine too. This brings back memories. Do you remember Aomine?" I know we can't part from each other.

"Uh yeah" You're the one person whom I love again and again.

As they both sat there, basking the presence of each other. Both wishes that they can go back to the old days, relive those happy and beautiful moments and just bury those heart-breaking moments and pointless fights. Promise each other to not bring them back up again and hope to not meet like today again.
