Choices
Andromeda Black was unsure of what she should do next. She was in love with Ted Tonks but there was one thing standing in the way: her family. If they found out she was dating a muggle-born, she'd be blasted off the family tree like Sirius was. After class ended she went to find her friend Meredith, who was in Ravenclaw.
"Mer'?"
"Hmm?"
"I need some advice."
"What kind of advice, Andy?"
"Advice on what I should do next."
"Andy, if you really want to know what to do next, just follow your heart and you'll go down the right path."
"What if I make the wrong choice, though?"
"You should just do what feels right."
"Alright, thanks for the advice Mer'."
"No problem, Andy."
2 Years Later (January of 1973)
Two years had gone by and Andromeda had taken the advice of he dear friend and followed her heart. As it turns out, she had the right thing. Even though it meant that she got burned off the family tree.
A few minutes later she heard a voice that broke her train of thought.
"Andy! Hey Andy!"
"Meredith?"
"How have you been? I haven't seen you since school ended!"
"I've been great. What about you?"
"Everyone's great, Tommy's walking and talking now."
"Well, I've got some great news."
"What's that?"
"I'm going to have a baby in a few months."
"Oh, that's fantastic!"
"I'm glad that you took my advice."
"So am I."
It was then that Andromeda realized that as long as you followed your heart you'd be happy.
She'd made the right choice.
