Background:
Lily forgave Snape before James could make his move. Now, several years later, Lily and Severus Snape are married with a son.
Both adults work at Hogwarts as the Charms and Potions professors. Evan Harrsion Snape grows up in the magical world experiencing love and magic through out his life. There's only one problem- his parents are on opposite sides of the war. His mother wants him to be light and his father encourages him to use darker spells- especially as the war between the light and dark rages on and danger is around every corner.
Evan's parents love each other but they fight about one thing constantly- what's right.
As he grows up, Evan finds he agrees more with his father's and Lord Voldemort's ideas about muggles- seeing some of the horror in the papers and some experiences- his parents left him with his aunt and uncle for a week for which he had horrible problems and the experiences stuck with him. He loves his mother and so does not show a liking to the dark- he even hides it from his father.
He was raised with the knowledge of muggles from his mom, but also the pureblood politics, traditions, etc by his father.
Characteristics:
Harry/Evan/whatever is an intelligent, strong willed, confident, and powerful boy. He enjoys learning- whether it be about magic, his history, ideals of the wizards in the war, so on.
Plot:
Basically, Evan grows up feeling he has to hide his power, abilities, and talent, yet can't help but enjoy the dark arts. Because of his personality, he would never be one to back down or bow- hence never finding an interest in serving the Dark Lord. However, he wishes to aid Voldemort in any way he can. His above average mind makes up for his age and his power is stronger then most highly talented, developed, and well-aged wizards.
As he experiences school and makes friends he grows in more than one way, discovering himself and making choices that will forever change his life. Let's not forget that Sirius and James have kids of their own who go to school- and are above or are in the same year as Evan- who torment him. They are, after all, second generation.
Evan will become close to the Dark Lord and with each other, they will fix their world and keep all muggles out of it.
Things not to change:
Evan (or whatever his name is) is a VIRGIN! His experience cannot be rape.
He loves his parents.
He is DARK!
I wrote this with the intention that it would become a Tom/Voldemort & Harry pairing, but the plot changed. So if you wish to make it so, so be it. There is only one thing- Harry cannot- under any circumstances, be with:
-Any girl (he has to be gay)
-Ron
-Albus
-Or any other completly fucked up pairs.
