"Take it." He jerked his hand closer to her face.

She just stared at the item.

"I said take it." He growled low in his voice.

She didn't move.

"Damn it . . !" He roared.

Her eyes lifted to meet his. "No."

"What the fuck do you mean 'no.'" His eyes widen in disbelief.

"Just what I said." She pushed herself off the wall. "Now leave me."

He grabbed her arm and jerked her closer to him. "You demanded me to get this for you. You paid for it up front. You own this. Now just take the damn thing." His gripe on her arm tightened.

"You still have the money that I paid you. I'm not going to take it back." She spoke in a calm manner. "I just changed my mind is all."

His neck tightened. "You don't get to change your mind Veronica." He spoke in a hiss. "Not after you paid me to buy you this. Not after you paid me carry this back to you." His eyes glinted. "You don't get to change your mind."

"I said I don't want it." Veronica slanted her eyes. "Now get your hands off me."

"You want revenge. I know you still want to revenge for what he did to her. This is your revenge." His gripe tightened even more. "I know you Veronica; I know that you won't be able to move on from this if you don't take his life for taking hers!"

Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I can't take his life for Betty's. Betty wouldn't want me to." She whispered.

"You should have thought of that before you ordered me to get this for you." His eyes grew granite hard. "You claimed that you loved my sister ... but when it comes to take the revenge of death ... you just ..." Tears rolled unheeded down his cheeks.

"I can't kill Archie Andrews. Even through he killed Betty so willing ... I can't kill him." Veronica chocked out. "Betty would haunt me for what little time I had left on this earth as I wait for the death sentence." She leaned her head into Chic's chest above his heart.

Chic's hand that held the gun shook as he fought to hold onto his raw anger to hold tightly the deadly weapon.

"He killed her only because she saved his life." Veronica brokenly sobbed. "I should have been the one to go to him. I would have seen the moment he decided to use his rage against whomever managed to make him see reason on not ending his life just due to his father passing away." Her hold on Chic tightened even more. "I should have been the one to have gone. Not Betty. Not her."

"Betty would have still gone with you. She would have still have gone for the gun. She would have still ..." Chic chocked out. "He still would have pulled the trigger in his anger." His hold on the gun tightened even more.

"How can I go on without Betty?" Veronica whispered.

Chic breathed as he raised his hand with the gun. He pointed it towards her temple. "You won't." He whispered. "Take care of Betty." He breathed as his finger tightened slightly against the trigger.

"I will." Veronica breathed as her eyes closed.

"Tell her that I will make Archie pay for what he did to both of you." Chic swore. "After I make sure that he can no longer hurt anyone; then I'll join you two." He pressed the trigger and watched as Veronica's head exploded against his chest; and out into the walls of the room. Tears running down his cheeks as his hand dropped the hot gun onto the carpet of Betty's room. He held Veronica's body tightly to him as he rested his head against the blooded wall near his youngest sister's unmade bed.
