The Tails of Two Foxes
Not long ago at all,
There lived a maiden with black hair,
An innocent girl whom life treated unfair,
Her tears made a river so deep,
That all that entered,
Could understand why she would weep,
She had many a suitor still,
Heart break after heartbreak,
Her resolve weakened
Kept only from breaking by those who truly loved her,
Alas, the number of such persons whom were not faking,
Seemed oh so mimute,
Then when the maiden near gave in,
A cave in nearby caused a weary fox to scurry
He was indeed in a hurry,
When he spotted the maiden, dressed in such garments,
To most she seemed like a frail rabbit,
Through his eyes, though there was only a fox,
He approached her
Her tears fell away and soon diminished,
They spoke and laughed, and soon even loved,
But wait, however, this tale is not finished,
For how you say,
Did they love in the end?
Well, it just so happens, the tale continues
At this very moment the two foxes,
Of cold steel and brown fur,
And the purest fox to be msitsken as a rabbit,
Are still playing out their fable,
And I shall be the one to witness it
Some even call me,
The Blue Wolf
