I dreamt a place of magic and love
A place with the whitest clouds above
And where people didn't have to fear
There wasn't a single gang anywhere
A place where trees tried to touch the sky
And a place where people never die

I dreamt a place inside the woods
A place open for all to come
Share their hearts and imaginations
And to create a God's greatest nation
People of all faiths, religions and races
And not one of them with a sense of hatred

I dreamt a place where we could lie
And talk all day and we wouldn't cry
A place where guns, knives and bombs
Never existed and then they'd never come
Where planes fly low and touch the ground
And with them they brought heaven down

I dreamt a place where we live forever
For you I named it Terabithia
No one cried, not a single simple sigh
But I remembered you, a tear dropped from my eye
There was no day and there wasn't night
Every hour was spent full of light

I dreamt a place where there was no health
And no need to go and look at your self
A place where everyone loved to go
And where every child could watch it snow
There wasn't a single hint of fear
And I realised that I didn't care

And when I woke I wrote it down
And then I went and read it out aloud
I listened to my words make the greatest sound
The sound of pulling memories down
