I'm daydreaming again. This thought recently crossed my mind and it wouldn't leave me alone so I'll just publish it, despite it taking place quite some time ago in the One Piece timeline. Trying to get some studying done, for crying out loud.
Captain Law's the best. He's really strong as well as smart. He's the ship captain and the doctor. Wherever he goes, I will be sure to follow; even if it's into the new world. But we didn't go immediately because Captain's really smart and said that we should wait a little bit and let the other guys kill themselves first. Meanwhile, we could stay here in the Grand Line for a little longer and just train harder to prepare ourselves. Captain's so smart, letting others test the water.
"Hey Bepo, come here."
"Coming~!" I squealed as I entered his workspace. Captain was reading a book, just like the smart captain he is. "Do you need me, Captain?"
"Eat this," he said.
In his un-furry, tattooed hand was a big mushroom. I sniffed it with my trusty bear nose. Yosh, mushroom. With my paw, I picked it up and tossed it into my hungry mouth. It tasted just like mushroom.
"Mmm thanks, Captain," I chewed. "What kind of mushroom is it?"
Captain flipped a page in his book full of mushroom pictures. "It's either an edible mushroom or it's from a completely different genus that will give you massive diarrhea. They look really similar to one another so I wanted you to eat it to find out which one it was."
I gulped. Wait. Aaaaaaargh, I swallowed it! No no no no no!
"Keep a record of when you have a bowel movement for the next 48 hours. While you're at it, collect stool samples of each one."
"Yes, Captain…" I drooped.
Yep. Captain's smart, letting others test the water.
