I do not , nor have I ever, owned Doctor who! I think that I would know f I did. Enjoy!
On it's own accord, the door to the TARDIS swung open widely and Clara Olswald made a mad dash for the safety of the blue box, the Doctor was on her heels. Both of them had wild expressions, with their hair and clothes matted with mud and twigs.
"You okay?"Clara asked as the Doctor slid inside after her and shut the doors. Neither one spared a glance back at the entire tribe of people who were now advancing on them.
The Doctor didn't respond right away, as he was busy scrambling to the counsel in attempt to get the shields up. A slamming at the door, followed by several angry voices made Clara jump, and lean on the door in hopes to keep the mob out. But, after some fancy button pushing, the Doctor nodded at her and managed to say between winded gasps, "Got the shields up. We're safe."
Clara nodded, "and you're not..." she trailed watching the timelords face, there were still tears present on her own face from the ordeal.
"No Clara, I'm fine. That was a clever lie to save our lives." The Doctor began pulling switches and the engines roared to life, teleporting the pair away into the vortex.
Clara could feel the grief that had crushed her not ten minutes ago disparate into anger, "You scared me Doctor." She said in an accusatory tone. "You just stepped on that stupid teleporter and left me in the jail cell! I thought you were dead! You couldn't have clued me in on your little trick before you-"
"Shh!" The Doctor raised one finger to his lips and Clara glared at the timelord.
"Don't shush me!" She hissed.
Again the Doctor was slow to respond, he began running about the counsel, his old eyes observing several screens and flashing lights, many of which, Clara noted, she had never seen activated before. An alarm began to blare.
"Doctor what-"
"Clara," the Doctor said urgently "brace yourself, something's coming and it's-"
Both of their heads swiveled to a loud thump that sounded by the door, and they stared.
Before them was a girl, a women actually. Her skin was pale, more so then was healthy. She looked quite beautiful, and had a mess of long blonde hair. Strapped to her wrist was a strange device Clara had never seen before.
She was breathing heavy, and was shaking slightly. Radiating off her skin was a sort of soft glowing energy.
The Doctor was frozen, shock written all over his face.
Clara took a step toward the girl, wanting to kneel at her side to see if she were okay.
Her movement shook the Doctor from his shock. Quickly he moved forward and grabbed Clara by her jacket, pulling her away just in time. "Clara don't-"
He was interuprupted with a scream of agony, the tired looking girl burst into golden light. Clara felt sick due to the massive amount of energy that now filled the air and turned herself away from what she knew to be a regeneration, the heat of the exploding girl making her burry her face in the Doctors clothes.
When it was over she looked at the girl, who was now half a head shorter with red hair, still with gold light streaming from her mouth and fingertips.
"Doctor..." Clara began carefully, "who's this?"
The Doctor's face was ashen and dark. He gave Clara's shoulders a reassuring squeeze before walking to the now sleeping woman and gathering her in his arms.
"I believe," the magician-like Timelord turned to face his companion, the newly regenerated girl in his arms, "that my past has finally caught up to me. Clara, meet Jenny. My daughter."
Right then! That was fun. More then likely this will just stay a one-shot, I have like twenty pages of this story in my spiral notebook at home, but I'm not too keen on translating it onto my computer. But if you guys like it, I will probably add more. Tell me what you think in the comments below!
