This is based toward the end of the game, in the scene where all the characters are disappearing. It shows a different perspective on what Loni was thinking in those final moments.

So this was the end of this timeline.
Kyle and his friends had single-handedly defeated Fortuna, who was actually the one behind all their problems. And along with that, Kyle had destroyed the lens at the heart of Kami no Tamago, at the same time destroying the one he loved.
And now, everyone was disappearing from the timeline, some from existence.
Harold had gone back to her snowy home a thousand years in the past. Judas had returned to the watery grave he had originally died in.
And Nanaly...
Loni couldn't bear to think of what had happened to Nanaly. Sure, he might be able to see her again in the new timeline, but his memory of her would've been completely erased, and she would be far younger than the sexy nineteen-year-old he knew. Instead, she would be just nine years old, still a little girl, and way too young for him.
He never got to tell her the truth. All the while, he had been meaning to tell her he loved her, but he had never been able to.
And now, he would never get the chance again.
Dammit, the man thought, deep within his mind. I can't believe I never got the chance... Stupid Elraine! If it weren't for her, none of this would've happened... I wouldn't have fallen in love with her...
Kyle seemed intrigued by Loni's thoughts. However, he said nothing, knowing that his older 'brother' might be able to sort out his thoughts by himself.
If only... If only...
Loni was practically in tears, his face in his hands. I loved her, dammit! I wanted to live out my life with her... and now I can't, because if I try to in the new timeline, I'd be branded a pedophile... and that wouldn't be nice, now would it?
He continued to cry, though he was trying as best he could to hide it from Kyle. It wasn't working. "What's wrong, Loni?"
"It's nothing. Nothing!" Loni's unusually angry tone caused Kyle to flinch.
"Something's wrong," Kyle said. "Tell me, Loni. What's wrong?"
"It's Nanaly..." Loni looked away, still covering his face with one hand. "I... never did get to tell her... and you, you with Reala! Oh, I'm such a blind fool..."
"Don't think of yourself as a fool," Kyle said. Then, he realized something. "...You loved her, didn't you?"
"Yes... yes... that's the problem!" Loni exclaimed. "Why... why did I have to be such a... an idiot? WHY?"
Kyle said no more, knowing that Loni was too upset to convince otherwise. The older man fell to the floor of Kami no Tamago, still crying.
And then, he disappeared.
"I'm sorry, Loni..."
