Age 10:

"What do you want to be when you're big, Alex?"

Alex and Sonny sat in Alex's tree house and ate cookies.

"A soldier. And you?"

"I want to be an actress. Why do you want to be a soldier?" Sonny looked confused at Alex.

"Well, why do you want to be an actress?"

"I guess because it's my dream."

"Like it is my dream to fight in wars."

They smiled at each other.

"I will be waiting here for you when you're fighting in a war." Sonny leaned over to Alex and kissed her cheek.

"And I'll be sitting next to you when you win your first award."

"Here you are." Alex's mum came up the ladder and in the tree house. "What are you talking about?" She sat in front of the two girls and ate a cookie.

Sonny smiled at Theresa.

"We are talking about what we want to be when we are big."

"Oh, and what do you want to be?"

Sonny smiled brighter.

"I'll be a famous actress and Alex will be a soldier."

Theresa looked shocked at Alex.

"W-why do you want to join the army?"

"It's my dream, mum. And no one can convince me not to join. I'll be a soldier."

Theresa knew that no one could get Alex to do something that she doesn't want to do. She had to live with it. Alex will join the army. Hopefully, Alex will forget about this dream.

She didn't.

8 years later:

A lot has changed since they were 10.

Alex and Sonny are girlfriends since sophomore year.

Alex is a troublemaker. Well, she is a bigger troublemaker than before.

Alex runs every day since they started high school to train her condition. And it worked. She is the fittest in school.

Anyways, it's the graduation ceremony at the moment.

"Munroe, Sonny. Julliard, drama."

Sonny gives Alex a peck on the lips and goes on the stage to except her diploma. She stands next to the other students on the stage.

"And in the end. Russo, Alex. U.S. Army."

Everyone cheered and clapped as Alex makes her way up on the stage, exepts her diploma and stands next to Sonny.

(Damn. I think there are a lot mistakes. Sorry.)

5 months later:

Alex and Sonny are sitting in their apartment in New York.

Alex checks their mail and Sonny studies.

Smiling, Sonny looks up at Alex.

"Are you okay, baby?"

Alex looks emotionless on a letter in her hands.

"I'm going to Afghanistan." Alex looks up at Sonny. "I don't know what I should feel. I'm sad that I have to leave you but I'm also happy 'cause this is what I always wanted, you know?"

"What?" chokes Sonny. "Y-you what? Afghanistan? W-when?"

"This Friday."

Friday:

Sonny is in Alex' arms and cries in her chest.

"I-I-I d-don't want y-you to l-leave."

"I know, baby. But I have to. I'll think about you every day." She kisses Sonny one last time and goes through the gates and into the plane.

5 month later:

"She was shoot. I'm sorry, ma'am."

"Oh my god." Harper gasps.

"W-what?"

Everyone in the room, Harper, Twani, Mrs Russo, Mr Russo and Ms Munroe, are looking at the hysterical crying Sonny in Twani's arms.

5 years later:

"You look wonderful, Alex."

Sonny looks down at her 4 year old daughter, Alex. They are going to an award show were Sonny hopefully wins her first award. She became a famous actress just like she said when she was 10.

Again, sorry for the mistakes. I'm learning English just since 6 years and we don't learn so much each year. We just repeat what we did 2 years ago, then what we did last year and then we learn something new in the 3 month before summer holidays start. (It's so, so, so lame here.)
