one thing Mark loved about Bonnie, his big heart; but sometimes, it annoyed him a little. right now, was one of those times.
"no Bonnie." Mark sighed. Bonnie pouted.
"please Mark?" Bonnie ask.
"no." Mark replied.
"b-but he needs a home!" Bonnie whimpered. Mark shook his head.
"I'm sorry Bonnie, I just took in four people and only one of those can keep a job. you keep telling your boss off, Chica keeps filing sexual harrassment charges, and Foxy scares everyone. I'm sorry." Mark sighed. he patted the puppy's head sadly and looked up at his lover, who looked crushed. Mark felt awful he hated seeing Bonnie like this. he sighed softly. "we'll let him stay until someone claims him or wants him." Mark said. Bonnie held the puppy to his chest. Mark never knew how he could have ever been afraid of the big softy. Bonnie turned away from him silently so he wouldn't see the tears. Mark reached after him but Bonnie walked out of his reach. Mark sighed once more and got to work on the found puppy signs. he walked out of his room and Bonnie was on the back porch. Mark was upset that he couldn't take the puppy in, but he was barley paying his bills. Freddy and Foxy stormed in.
"Mark, tell him he can't work at the construction site with me!" Freddy growled.
"like hell I can'!" Foxy growled. Mark sighed softly.
"guy's not right now." Mark muttered pinching the bridge of his nose. they seemed to realize something was wrong.
"hey you okay?" Freddy ask. Mark nodded.
"about as okay as I can be." Mark sighed and got back to work. Bonnie cuddled the puppy and headed for the back yard. he cradled the puppy. it completely broke his heart to now they couldn't keep the pup.
"I'm sorry buddy." Bonnie said trying to dry his face. the puppy looked up at him and barked happily. Bonnie nuzzled him softly. the puppy nuzzled back. ever since Bonnie was a boy, he wanted a dog, but he wasn't allowed to have one. now that he was allowed to have one, they couldn't afford it. Bonnie jumped up and put the puppy inside, taking off. if they couldn't afford a puppy, he'd get a job and help them afford the puppy. Mark waited for Bonnie for hours. it was midnight when Bonnie came back, and he was even more upset.
"Bonnie where have you been?" Mark ask worriedly as he walked in. the puppy ran to Bonnie, who scooped him up.
"out. looking for a job." Bonnie muttered. Marks heart shattered. "I couldn't find one." Bonnie said tearfully, holding the puppy.
"i'm sorry baby." Mark said softly. Bonnie cuddled the pup. he pulled Bonnie close and kissed his nose. "but I have good news for you baby." Mark said. Bonnie looked up tearfully.
"what could be good news?" Bonnie muttered.
"Foxy and Freddy came into some work and got a raise. you can keep the puppy." Mark said softly. Bonnie's face lit up.
"re-really!?" Bonnie ask. Mark nodded and Bonnie kissed him deeply. Mark melted into the kiss as Bonnie squeezed him tighter. Mark kissed him back and pushed back.
"ca-can't breathe." Mark managed. Bonnie ignored him and pushed him against the wall, kissing him deeply. the puppy whined for attention and that was when they broke apart. Bonnie scooped the puppy up and held him tightly. it warmed Mike's heart to see Bonnie smile. Bonnie cuddled the puppy and Mark walked over, petting it's head. he hugged Mark and the puppy and nuzzled his face into Marks neck. Mark smiled and laughed when the puppy licked him. "I have rules though. it better not ruin my carpet with any pooping or peeing. you have to walk it everyday. you've got to feed and water it." Mark said. Bonnie nuzzled him again and Mark smiled.
"I know." Bonnie smiled. he kissed Mark gently and smiles.
