"So who are you going to be staying with?" Arizona asked as she stopped to look at Andrew DeLuca.
"With Owen, actually," he replied to which Arizona did a double take to look at her former roomate then to see her accidental ex-girlfriend kissing the red-headed man.
"Owen?" The blonde asked with surprise in her voice.
Arizona was more surprised than hurt at the sight of Carina with someone else. She knew that the woman was a very sexual person and never judged her for that but she figured they were going to talk things out and get right back on track. Apparently, the Italian woman had different plans.
She was used to being alone but it wasn't something she enjoyed. She missed her relationship with Minnick but things felt much more natural with Carina. They enjoyed each other's company and there was never a dull moment or even a real argument. There was occasional bickering but it was always abruptly ended by sex. They didn't talk too much about their feelings and although Arizona tried hard to not get too attatched, she still really liked Carina.
A few days passed with no contact between the two, not even walking past each other; it was as if Carina was purposefully taking routes in the hospital to avoid Arizona. Robbins found it a bit childish. They were adults and they could coexist without having to go out of the way to avoid each other, right?
"Carina," Arizona called as she saw the woman in the hallway approaching her. Her heart fluttered nervously, unsure if she knew what she'd overseen. She hoped that the brunette hadn't decided to be with Owen now. She couldn't imagine how Andrew, Amelia, and pretty much everyone else would feel about those two as a couple. Personally, it made her a little nauseous.
"Arizona," she said with a raised eyebrow. "It's been a while," she said as she lightly touched the woman's arm before putting her hands in her pockets. "What can I do for you?"
Arizona just laughed. "You could've given me a chance to explain myself before you went and slep twith Owen," she thought outloud as she rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest defensively. It took her a second to realize that she actually blurted that out, Carina's scoff affirming that she indeed said it.
"Seriously? You Americans are such prudes with-"
"Really, Carina? You slept with one of my coworkers less than 24 hours after you left my bed in the middle of a conversation about our relationship! I'm not judging your... odd sexual choices, I'm upset that you didn't even give us a chance to talk," she huffed out, stepping closer to the woman. "By the way, you left your panties at my place," she brushed past the woman's shoulder roughly as she walked away angrily.
