Prologue

"What's the matter, gay boy? Afraid?" the higher class tormented.

Mark Fischbach- 'the gay boy' of the school. It was only the first day, and the tormenting already started. Mark stood in the corner of the bathroom stall he was hiding in as three other students banged their fists on the stall door.

"L-Leave me alone, Killian!" Mark attempted to shout, but his voice cracked mid-sentence, ending up high-pitched. Another thing he was made fun of for- His small, 'girly' voice. He hid in his pastel pink, oversized hoodie, his faded pink hair a mess since he was pushed to the ground before ending up in the boys bathroom.

"Awe, come on, Markimoo! You can't stay in there forever-"

Mark didn't reply. His back slid down the wall, sitting on the floor with his knees up to his chest, still hiding in his hoodie as he cried- He didn't know how long he cried for, but he knew it was a while when he heard the banging of the stall door stop, and he saw from under the door that Killian and his gang walked away, only to be replaced by another set of feet.

He heard that soft voice, realizing it was the one and only person that actually cared about his well-being in this hell of a school. "Time to come out, Mark.. They're gone."

It was Amy Nelson. The girl that took her time to make sure he was ok in these situations.

Before Mark knew it, he was up on his feet, opening the stall door to see her standing there, a sympathetic look on her face. She took Mark into her arms, hugging him tightly. She was much taller than Mark, and much stronger than him as well. He was a weakling.. In the past, he has worked out, leaving behind some muscle, but he never took that as an advantage. A six pack and biceps never really interested him- Plus, it was hidden under his enormous hoodie.

The sound of high heels tapping on the ground interrupted the two as they both looked over, seeing the face of Mrs. Owens, the principal, angrier than Mark has ever seen her.

The little gang of boys lied.
