This is my first published fan fiction. I hope you all enjoy the first chapter and I plan on making many more. I would love reviews. If there are any mistakes please let me know. This chapter may be a little short but I will try to make them longer as I progress in the story.

10's POV

Rose had been gone a while making tea for the both of us. I hope she puts enough milk in it, last time she didn't put enough and it didn't taste as sweet. The Doctor started to laugh at that memory.

Flashback:

Rose just walked through the doorway and both of her hands had a tea cup in it. I told her before she left that I like milk in my tea. When she handed me my cup of tea, I sniffed my tea. Rose's expression to that was confused. It smelled like my normal tea. It's not that I don't trust Rose, I'm just really specific about how my tea is made. She was still watching my face when she spit her tea out all over the console from looking at my expression. As soon as I tasted the tea my face was similar to when you eat a lemon. She started to crack up laughing…

The Doctor's reverie was broken by an alarm going off from somewhere inside the TARDIS. Surprised, I began pressing buttons and pulling levers. "What is this!" I said frantically. Rose ran into the room looking a little too calm than the situation called for. "Doctor what is going on?" she yelled over all the noise. The TARDIS was taking us somewhere and I had no idea where we were headed or who we were going to. Thinking that idea didn't calm me down any.

"No, no, no… not today you don't" I said to myself as I was looking at the screen. Attempting to trace where the signal that was telling the TARDIS to go somewhere, Rose was holding on for life. We were bouncing and moving every which way. Someone had broken through the security and had some control over the TARDIS. As I was trying to get back control all the alarms stopped and we weren't moving anymore.

Rose's POV

As soon as I realized we stopped moving, I went over to where the Doctor was standing. I tried to look over his shoulder to see where we are, but he is too tall. "We must've landed somewhere. Don't go out that door Rose, I have no idea what is going on. We need to be extra careful." the Doctor told me warily.

He didn't look scared, more confused than anything. That's something that rarely happens. I don't think the Doctor has ever acted this way before. Thinking this Rose became a little less calm. I wonder where exactly we are. Looking at the Doctor I asked, "Where are we?"

He had been staring at the screen that usually tells us where we land for some time. He didn't move or react to my question. I looked around him at it and it said we were in England in 1842. I don't see any problem with the place or time. I remember nothing really important happening on this day. I lightly touched his arm to get his attention and told him it seemed like it was okay to go outside. He tried to argue with me, but he didn't have any real logic against it. The Doctor finally relented. I changed clothes. I put on a dress that covered most of my arms, showed a little cleavage but not too much, and went down to my ankles. It was a dark purple and I had black flats. Walking back to the control center, we were about to walk out the door. There was a light knock on the door. The Doctor and I looked at each other with faces of shock. He goes up to the door with me trailing behind him. As we open the door someone is talking to us. "Doctor, finally, I've been trying to rea-" said a female. "Who are you? And where is the Doctor?" she asked us.
