"You don't belong with him Rachel. You belong with me, on Broadway, in the spotlight, while the audience is shouting our names."
Jesse circled her while she stood numb, stiffly watching Finn and Quinn dance while they each smiled and gazed at each with love sick eyes. They stood separately from everyone in the back of the room. But weren't they always apart from everyone? Jesse would say they were on a pedestal, Rachel called it loneliness. He watched her closely looking for every reaction he could produce. His black jacket and dark washed jeans almost blended in the shadows. Rachel used to fear the darkness as a small child, but not now. Now she needed to be wherever he was. Finn might not want her, but Jesse did, and that had to mean something.
Rachel gasped when she felt his hands grasp her hips, "We are the same Rachel. We belong together," He whispered in her ear, his voice enticing, while his warm hands ran down the length of her short dress.
"Jesse," She begged, though for what, she wasn't sure.
Undeterred he whispered hotly in her ear. "Did you think he could satisfy you? He's just a dumb kid, Rachel. He'll never understand you the way I do. He doesn't know what he wants. I know just what I want."
With that his hips thrust forward, showing her just how much he wanted her.
Rachel's head lulled limply to the side and she moaned at the friction. Rachel felt her hair being gently moved, pulled to the side so one shoulder was bare. In a flash his mouth was attached to her neck, sucking and licking at her pulse point. She gasped and blindly reached behind her, needing to hold any part of him. She grasped at his dark curls, moaning as his hips bucked into her bottom.
The thump of the heavy bass mixed with beat of her heart and the rhythm of his thrusting. Rachel knew they were crossing a dangerous line, caught up
in a destructive dance together. But she couldn't bring herself to care. He grasped at her thighs and bunched up the bottom of her dress, before tracing her panties with his fingertips. Rachel shuddered and moaned, her eyes fluttering closed.
"Please," she whispered.
Jesse only made a disappointed noise before saying, "No, no. Don't close your eyes. Look at them Rachel, your friends, look at them."
Rachel forced her eyes open and saw everyone in her class, paired up together and swaying to the music; did they even realize she had left?
"Do you see them all having a good time without you? You don't belong with them. You don't need them. They don't even deserve your talent. You belong with me."
He licked the shell of her ear before gently pulling on the lobe with his teeth. Rachel's knees went weak and her breath was coming in pants. He spoke hotly in her ear.
"Tell me, who's the one doing this to you? Tell me, who's the one with you? You want me, not Finn."
When Rachel hesitated to reply Jesse grabbed her long dark hair in his hand and forced her head back. Rachel gasped before completely surrendering.
"You. I want you."
