Talks of moving
Episode 8
August 14
Samantha was in the kitchen with her mom. Samantha seemed angry. "Why is there a for sale sign in the front yard?"
"Well it is for neighbors to see and maybe so they would think we are leaving but we are surly not."
"Ok, I hope not." Later that afternoon Tom and Chris went to a park and sat down and talked. "Is it true that Samantha is moving," asked Chris.
"I think so. I hope they don't move."
"They can't move, that is my son and I won't be able to see it if they move." After they finished talking they both went to talk to Samantha. At Samantha's house Dreya was there. They were talking and Samantha was surprised about her hearing that Samantha was moving. Samantha denied her about moving but then once Tom and Chris went to talk to her about hearing that Samantha was moving she started to go crazy. She decided to go to bed for the night so she could think.
The next day came and Samantha went to talk to her mom, while Elliot took a nap. "Mom, I think you are lying to me about the for sale sign."
"Ok, Samantha you are right I am lying, we are moving to South Carolina in a month."
"Mom, When were you going to tell me, when the moving trucks come here?"
"No, I was going to tell you sooner." Samantha was now really angry. She ran out the house and decided to go to the park. She called her friends and told them to come to the park. Once they got there she started to cry. "Hey yall. I got some sad news. I am really moving."
There expressions were blank. They all were thinking what. "Samantha I am sorry. Why are you moving," asked Dreya?
"I don't know why we are moving."
"What is going to happen with me and Elliot?"
"I don't know. I need to ask my mom."
"I don't know what to say," said Tom.
"I am sorry everybody. I don't won't to leave yall. You all are the best friends anybody could want."
That evening she went into her room and stared at the moon thinking of what to do and why she is moving away. She just felt so confused and sad. She then decided to say something. "Why are we leaving?" She yelled that out loud to where her mom heard it.
