Vile: Hey folks, another surprise upload for me! And it's a surprise to me, too, as this only took me a random 15 minutes to write. I've been mulling over a possible way to end ARC-V, but since the series is nowhere near over, I'd be jumping the gun by going with it now. However, this drabble is related to my hypothetical ending, so I want to see what you guys would think of it. Each style of text is a different voice, with the omni-text being all of them. Enjoy, everyone.
Fate Decided
Why does it refuse to end…?
All the suffering and hate…
Is this really the existence she desired…?
No… this cannot be what we intended….
Lives being reduced to pathetic fodder…
Evil acts that even we took part in…
Happiness being willingly thrown away for it all…
Those that could help doing nothing for the less fortunate…
I… I can't go on like this… Please… Make it stop…
Is all hope lost…? Can we do nothing…?
There is… only one way…
You don't mean…?
It must all be destroyed… and put back together…
…Reset it all…?
It's too far gone… We tried to fix it and failed…
It's true… None of them listen…
And the damage we caused is irreparable…
I'll do anything… to end it all…
The fate of all has been decided…
But… what about her…?
Ngh… that's right… she has grown attached to this existence…
She need not worry… All will not be lost…
That's right… she can just put everything back together…
Reforming the worlds she knows…
But without the chaos and misery…
Would she agree to this…?
She will know why we came to this… and she will see the good it can do…
I'd like… to see those worlds... to live there with her…
But she needs her power back for this…
So we will bring the pieces together…
We will reunite with her at last… and we will create the new existence together…
Vile: You guys can probably guess who these voices are. While we're still far off from ARC-V's ending, my idea might be something I can fall back on if the ending ends up lackluster. But I'd like some feedback on it. I've put up a poll on my profile (it might not be visible yet, though, so keep checking), so I want your reactions: If ARC-V's ending isn't very good, should I go with this idea?
