The day that changed my life started like any other; I awoke at six am to the horrendous sound of the Pikachu alarm that my best friend, Angela, brought back for me for her summer vacation in Japan.

I then proceeded to shut of said alarm and woke up again at eight forty five with just enough time to run a comb through my hair, put on some pants and run out the door, sans breakfast.

I stalled my red truck, a gift from Charlie, twice before taking a calming breath and heading towards my prison, Forks High- home of the Spartans.

I got lucky and managed to sneak into homeroom and slide into my seat next to Jessica, just as the tardy bell rang.

"Did you hear?" She whispered when Mr Berty began ticking off the roster.
"Hear what?" I asked back.

"A new family moved into the old Newton home, Five kids all around our age, All adopted by this rich couple who can't have their own." She sneered the last bit as if that made them lesser people.
"Really, five kids?"

Surprised by this news, I turned my chair to face Jessica, I usually tuned out Jessica's gossip but this spiked my interest, we hadn't had a new family move to Forks since I moved in with Charlie 2 years ago, five at once was unheard of.
Her face lit up by my obvious curiosity and she took it as a cue to continue.

"Yeah, they're gorgeous too, like unnaturally so, I saw them all in the office this morning collecting their schedules, they could-should all be models."

I rolled my eyes at this, Jessica was known for her exaggeration, I was about to tell her so when Mr Berty cleared his throat, I turned my chair back towards the front.

I didn't get a chance to talk to Jessica after class because her boyfriend; Eric Yorkie was waiting by the door.
I started making my way toward the art building when I heard my Angela call out for me.
I turned to face her and collided violently with the boy walking behind meand dropped my books.
"I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed and bent down to pick them up.
"No harm, no foul.'' Said a soothing melodic voice, I looked up and suddenly I was staring into the deepest blue eyes I'd ever seen.

AN: Okay first chapter is a short one, they will get longer.
The Cullens are not vampires but they might not be human either, guess we'll see.
