Atsushi was taking a walk across the city since his car broke down midway, so it had to be taken away for repairs. Since his house was nearby, he didn't need to ride a taxi.
On his way, Atsushi looked at his phone for any messages since he was currently a financial manager for a fashion industry that gave him good pay and a lot of day offs. Because of his success and his decent good looks, he was well respected and liked by many people. He was a fairly happy man, though a bit bored at the moment.
Then suddenly, something sparkly glinted at his eyes. He turned his attention to the source, and his eyes stared in horror at the sight of a very ridiculously dressed man who must've been thrown back into the eighties or nineties, and bought back clothes that wouldn't be even classified as vintage. The leather jacket and pants were okay, but the skull belt and him putting his face on his tank top just made him appear so tacky. And those sunglasses didn't even fit him. He would've looked better with aviator sunglasses on.
Oh look, he's taking them o- "TODOMATSU?!" Atsushi screamed in his mind! But when he stared for a bit more, he noticed distinct differences. One was the tacky stranger's bushier eyebrows that were well shaped, and his overall atmosphere didn't give off a deceiving sweetness that females and Todomatsu would give off. Instead it gave off this strange, out-of-place manliness that both disturbed and intrigued Atsushi.
The stranger was just lying against a wall, probably thinking about silly things that he was taking way too seriously. However, when a granny came by carrying groceries that didn't look heavy, the man helped her anyway, and walked her all the way to her home, or so Atsushi thought as they disappeared from his sight.
Atsushi already knew better to not judge a person by their appearance, but working in the fashion industry does that to a person.
He thought he wouldn't see the stranger again, but then a few days later, he caught the man stopping a child from crying after she gave up hope of finding her puppy. The tacky stranger did it by talking all cool which would sound convincing to a child but sounded like complete bullshit to an adult who was a part of reality. The man then gave the kid a lollipop. It worked as the child stopped crying and thanked him before heading off to continue searching for her puppy.
On another day and several days after that, Atsushi would see him go off doing nice things for people despite being dressed so horribly and calling different people 'Karamatsu boys or girls'. The fashion financial manager would've called him a narcissist, but he worked with narcissists all the time, and this guy wouldn't blend in with them.
Atsushi also witnessed this man get hurt and rejected several times that it was amazing that he was still alive or confident. This made him beyond curious about this Karamatsu man who looked similar to his friend, Todomatsu. He eventually discovered that this Karamatsu guy knew Todomatsu somehow when the feminine guy would post pics of him in his instagram. Atsushi would ask Todomatsu of who this person was but this person would deny any connections with him. Left without an appropriate answer, Atsushi couldn't stop himself from driving halfway from his work. He would then park his car and take a walk until he spotted the Karamatsu man. He knew that a busybody like him shouldn't do this, and that this could end if he just talked to him. He never saw himself as a shy person, but he felt his nerves leave him before he could take another step toward him.
Months passed by since this happen, and he knew at some point that he had to stop. He was practically stalking this man who only looked decent truly decent when he was wearing his blue parka and jeans. And dear god help this booty-enthusiast when that shades man wore those booty shorts. Atsushi forced himself to give himself an intervention by not parking his car halfway to home or work, and don't take his eyes off the road no matter how much he really wanted to!
But life had a funny way of giving him what he wanted, and it wanted to surprise him, so when his guard was lowered, Atsushi was greeted by the sight of the Karamatsu man sniffling and wiping the tears away from his reddened swollen face at a park. His head was wrapped in bandages, his cheek was covered by a gauze, his arm and leg had a cast so a crutch was placed on the bench next to him.
After seeing this man graciously help others, Atsushi couldn't ignore him out of good conscience. After months of keeping his distance, there he was now; less than three feet away from him, and he had a handkerchief for such an occasion. "U-uhm, excuse me?" He held out the dainty piece of cloth. "Here."
The crying man looked at him with a face that seemed to be half suspicious and confused, but then something ticked in this man's head, and he acted kind with his voice forcefully coming out deep despite how it seemed to shake. "Ah, thank you, but there's no need. I'm a shameful man, a guilty guy. I don't deserve your kindness."
That sounded like a load of bull since he always gave nothing but kindness. Atsushi pushed the handkerchief into his unharmed hand. "It's alright. I have plenty of these, so you don't have to return it."
Karamatsu looked at him as if he thought Atsushi was supposed to be imaginary. When he came to terms that the business-looking man was real, he used the handkerchief to wipe his face, and blow his nose that was filled with snot. "Thank you." He said as he sniffed.
Atsushi was glad that he also had a bottle of water with him in his bag, so he handed that over, too. "Here, so you can remain hydrated."
"Oh...thank you." Karamatsu took the bottle of water while Atsushi sat down next to him. He drank a bit too fast, so he coughed. Atsushi rubbed his back to ease him. "Tha-thank you." He said hoarsely before downing the rest while Atsushi coaxed him so he didn't feel any pressure to act normal when he just felt so shitty.
The two fell into silence as Karamatsu collected himself.
"Am I..." A surprisingly clear, light voice came out. "A terrible person?"
Atsushi was surprised by this question. Terrible fashion sense, yes, but a terrible person, no way. Since this was their first time meeting, he couldn't tell him that he's been watching the gaudy dressed man for months. Instead he politely answered, "Why do you ask?"
"Right. It was foolish of me to ask. I'm sorry."
"Ah, no! I have time! The truth is that I'm surprised that you'd ask that question since I've seen you around."
Karamatsu looked at him with a slightly confused, curious expression that would've looked cute if not for his red, swollen face, and the fact that he was a grown man.
Atsushi explained, but sweetened the truth, "My name is Atsushi. I work as a financial manager for a fashion industry." He gave Karamatsu his business card. The NEET was predictably impressed and speechless. "I always see you when I drive to my company and home, so I witnessed you helping the elderly and kids from time to time. That's why I was surprised by your question."
Karamatsu looked even more surprised, and remained speechless.
Atsushi continued, "You know, it's getting late. Here, I'll treat you to dinner. My car is nearby, so I can drive us to a nice private restaurant, and you can tell me about it."
The NEET didn't know how many more times he was going to be surprised. "I-I coul-"
"It's okay. It's okay. I'm the one suggesting, and I would like some company tonight. Alright, Karamatsu?"
"You know my name?"
"You have quite a few fans, how could I not know."
"I-I see." Karamatsu figured that Atsushi was just being extra nice to him since he knew better that he didn't have any fans, but with how he passes out his name a lot, he really shouldn't be surprised that this man knew by chance. He stood up with the kind gentleman's help, and they went to his car.
The restaurant they went to looked fancy, but there was a private section, and it looked like Atsushi was a regular, so everything was carried out without any confusion or panic.
"U-uhm."
"Hm." Atsushi hummed to Karamatsu's bashfulness across the table as they looked over the menu. "Oh, do you have a problem reading the menu?"
"No." Karamatsu could read English and Italian just fine. "If you don't mind me asking, have you done this before?"
"Huh?" Atsushi took in the situation. "Oh, no." he shook his head. "Helga, the receptionist, just takes everything that happens in stride. You can enter the restaurant in a bizarre costume, and she won't even bat an eyelash."
"Oh..."
The waiter soon came, and asked for their order. Atsushi gave his, and Karamatsu also gave his with ease.
"Oh? You can speak Italian?"
"Only the basics."
"Hm." Atsushi spoke in Italian, and impressively, Karamatsu could reply, and made only a few grammar errors, which he helped correct. His pronunciation was spot on however.
Throughout their meal, they first talked about the weather, what went on in the news, gave their opinions, and then Atsushi began wanting to talk about family.
It turned out that he had a father who was a workaholic, and a stay-at-home mother with three older sisters. Because the females in his family were obsessed with fashion and models, Atsushi was exposed to it. However unlike one of his older sisters who would recklessly spend money to find the correct dress for herself without proper planning, Atsushi always planned ahead so he didn't spend too much, but he was always stylish. When he was still in elementary, he took over the family's finance, so they wouldn't be run into the ground by their lack of spending restraint.
Karamatsu was deeply impressed by his maturity and smarts. He admitted to not being good at that stuff in school, and was even slower than the other kids. But in high school, he found his passion in the drama club. He was always good with sewing but the club truly utilized his skill when he would help design the costumes and background. He got into acting for fun, and fell in love with the flow of dramatic speech with a thick rich voice like other cool men do. Even after high school, he would attend free underground improv classes when he had the time. His sense of fashion was inspired by his all time favorite singer, Ozaki Yutaka.
Atsushi was also a fan of his and the two talked about him just as their meals arrived with bubbly champagne. The two continued talking about different kinds of artists of the many various arts and literature. The night carried on like a swift swooped by and stole away the hours. After the meal, Atsushi thought he should bring the young man home, but when he noticed how frightened he was to go, he calmly suggested to go to the aquarium as if he hadn't noticed his reaction.
Karamatsu questioned if any aquariums would be open this late. Atsushi answered that there weren't but he was friends with someone who owned one, so he could get them in. Karamatsu didn't want to bother anyone, but the influential financial manager reassured him that it was okay. The owner owed him a favor anyway, so the two went to one of Japan's largest aquariums. Karamatsu's eyes widened at the beautiful display where they went so far as use holograms to make it seem as if he was walking within an ocean.
Atsushi made them ride a chair lift swing that he could control with a remote. That way Karamatsu didn't have to uncomfortably hop everywhere. The financial manager didn't think much of the place since he's taken many high class women on dates here. Fond memories took place here, but he began thinking that none of them could be as cherishing as seeing a twenty-something-year-old act like an over excited child. The way his softened, masculine voice gasped and awed at everything pulled at heart strings. Karamatsu was just rambling on about the beauty of the aquarium and even flirted with the animals. Atsushi found himself laughing at how utterly ridiculous this man is.
Karamatsu was lost on how what he said could be funny, and Atsushi didn't bother to explain. He didn't want to ruin this quirk. Instead he began talking about what kind of work he does and how it led him to getting a favor from the owner of this high tech tourist site. He then asked Karamatsu about his work.
The NEET tried to play up his NEET-ness in a dramatic way to pull away from the conversation, but Atsushi was able to decipher his romantic words. He did see the man a little less than someone like him, but his interest heightened as well. He asked if Karamatsu wanted to be an actor.
"A-ah, no." The man knew he wouldn't be able to hide behind his dramatic shield like he did with everyone else who didn't want to waste their time. Atsushi was surprisingly really patient and seemed to be...even into his dramatic way of speaking. "I didn't have any plans. I just wanted to continue hanging out with my burrazzas. I know I should get a job, but I'm scared that if I do that, things might change, and we'd see each other less and less. When we have holidays, one of us might not make it because of their job or the airport is closed."
"I guess that's true. I saw my sisters less when we began having jobs, but we weren't that close to begin with. I suppose living a NEET life may come with its own benefits, but is there really nothing you wanted to be?"
Karamatsu looked down, blushing, "I guess once I...wanted to be a florist."
"Hm? A florist?" That was definitely a surprise.
"Mm." The man nodded cutely; his face practically burning, "I don't know much about plants, but I always loved passing by the flower shop since I was a little kid. Being surrounded by all of those beautiful flowers is truly heaven. I wouldn't mind singing to them so they could bloom to their full potential."
Atsushi found that extremely adorable. "Then could you sing something for me now?"
"Hm?" Karamatsu was lost a bit for his slowness.
Atsushi clarified, "Even without your lowered pitched tone, your voice is very pleasant to hear. Could you sing a lullaby to me?"
Karamatsu blinked before he smirked. "Of course, my sweet Karamatsu boy."
Atsushi snorted. His smile turned soft once the man started singing. Karamatsu happily smiled at him, forgetting the state his body was in as it was carried through the ocean. Atsushi forgot it as well when he became immersed in his smile.
When the carrier came to a stop long after the song came to an end, they didn't notice. Atsushi simply scooted closer and kissed him. Karamatsu closed his eyes as he allowed the man to take his first kiss. Atsushi's lips were soft and tasted like cherries. The man wanted to take it further but by how inexperienced the young man's lips were, he kept it sweet and simple. He found it worth it when he saw the softly blushing face that still felt his innocence remained attached. It's been so long since he saw that look. He felt like such a villain for claiming such a pure victim.
"It's too late to go home." He slyly told the dazed man who woke up to his senses by that statement. "It's a good thing this place has a private room that exclusive guests can use if they desired to sleep here."
Karamatsu blindly followed him to the room that so happened to have a shower room. Atsushi offered to help him bathe since he was injured after all. Karamatsu didn't think anything of it as he stripped. Atsushi took in parts of his body that the shameless/clueless man had bothered to hide, which was practically nothing since the man was once stripped bare without realizing it, and when he did, it was when the police showed up. Atsushi still had the pictures and videos he took that day, and he had to admit, seeing the man up close like this was far better quality.
Yet taking a closer look at the muscular back, he noticed faint scars that must've came from rough play. He's seen the funny, violent posts that Totty puts up of his family so he figured the fresher ones must've came from that.
The two entered the bathroom that was traditionally Japanese. Atsushi helped placed the plastic covers on Kara's arm and leg, and used the shower cap to protect his head. Karamatsu wanted to help scrub his back but doing it with only one arm was difficult, so Atsushi just let him focus on one side while he used a back scrubber on the other.
Afterwards, they bathed in the prepared hot bath, and continued to talk about their hobbies and stuff. Atsushi was sort of a workaholic like his father. He got as many days off as he did since he bought the work to his home and could just do video chats with his clients and co-workers. When he wasn't working, he was simply on his phone, driving, or going to mixers by a friend. He also went to the gym to keep up his form that was leaner than Karamatsu's slightly buff form.
Karamatsu didn't go to a gym since that costed money. Believe it or not, he hadn't realized that he was becoming as masculine as he did when growing up, but he's been told that it could be because he was basically the errand boy and the victim to doing the chores in his family. His athletic younger brother Jyuushimatsu's body was obviously from his love of baseball, but according to a physical examiner back at high school, he had the better body shape since he had a better balanced diet than his erratic brother.
Atsushi wanted to know more about his brothers, and Karamatsu was more than happy to share. He started with the youngest who Atsushi admitted to knowing. Karamatsu was surprised, and Atsushi told him that they knew each other through mutual friends. The two would hang out together and Atsushi didn't mind being made to pay for the drinks and meals or even the gifts at all. This made Karamatsu innocently ask if the two were seeing each other in a different way. He suddenly turned very protective when his eyes shown a hidden crazy, aggressive side. Atsushi sweat dropped a little when he denied it. He just spoiled Todomatsu since the guy was just working at Starbucks. It's not unnatural for friends to help each other out.
Karamatsu turned back to his bubbly side, which intrigued the financial manager. So there was an aggressive side beneath the kind man. Karamatsu then went on to gloat about his younger brothers as if he had a complex. He called Todomatsu his most precious little brother since he was the youngest, but wasn't afraid to put him in his place since it's not good to spoil them too much. He believed that Todomatsu turned into the 'millennial' he was since he was babied a lot despite the fact that they're all the same age.
Jyuushimatsu was his absolute, darling angel. Always the vibrant one who also wishes to make everyone happy. He's a bit...extreme, but in a lovable way. Ichimatsu was his dear Karamatsu boy even if he refused to admit it. He's always violent with him and breaking his stuff, but he knew his little brother was just being shy. He didn't have the best idea of himself, so he always made sure Ichimatsu knew he believed in him.
Choromatsu was someone Karamatsu could definitely rely on to help out with their brothers since he's the most responsible of them all. Because of that, Karamatsu didn't treat him like he would with his much more spoiled younger brothers. They would actually have some pleasant chats where Choromatsu would be open about his otaku stuff. Karamatsu usually became lost in his passionate ramblings, but as long as Choromatsu was happy, he was obliged to listen to him.
When it came time to talk about Osomatsu, his only older brother, he was less enthusiastic about it. He was a lot more cynical of the eldest, but still genuinely caring for the idiot's well-being and recognized how reliable the gambling loser was.
They got out of the bath and put on one of the fluffiest bath robes while the man talked stories of their childhood. Atsushi was amused to learn of the younger Todomatsu, who was laid-back and spoiled like his older self but obviously not obedient or dirty anymore. Karamatsu seemed to despise Todomatsu's questionable spoiled carefree attitude now, but his words also laced with much loving protectiveness that Atsushi made it clear that he wasn't aiming for Todomatsu by pulling the man onto his lap.
They sat before an electrical fireplace that seemed oddly out of place but aesthetically pleasing in the aquarium-themed room. The sea life around them just continued on with their thing.
Karamatsu was caught off guard by this, looking lost as to how they got in this position. Atsushi coiled his arms around him and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips. Karamatsu smiled once again, melting into the sweet simpleness. His cheeks became a flush pink as his eyes dilated with love. They kissed a few more times until Atsushi was sure it was safe to finally slip in tongue. The virgin was surprised by the feel of something soft and warm in his mouth. He didn't know what to do as it massaged areas in his mouth that no one else had explored. His usual empty head became cloudy with lust.
Atsushi withdrew when he felt Karamatsu loose all energy to sit straight. He smirked at the appetizing jello of a man in his arms. "Karamatsu."
"Hm? Atsushi..."
"You may call me Atsushi-kun if you like."
"Atsushi-kun." Karamatsu tried it out and for some reason he felt strange tingles throughout his body for doing so.
The man felt his heartstrings pulled by that. "In fact, never mind. Atsushi will do just fine."
"Atsushi." Karamatsu spoke with a deeper, husky voice as he tried to regain energy in his voice. He felt something hard poking against his bottom. He knew exactly what it was since his own was peeking through the curtains of his robes.
The more experienced man took this as a sign. "Karamatsu." He spoke softly.
"Mm?"
"May I pleasure you." He ghostly caressed the shorter man's inner thigh.
Karamatsu felt his body shiver in anticipation and even a hint of fear since despite being an airhead, a pervert like him knew exactly where this would go. He knew what was on the line, and how something like this...was a betrayal to his brothers.
Yet, the events of today, where he was left behind by his brothers as they cared for another of their brothers...Karamatsu understood that Ichimatsu needed more attention and love than him that he was someone worth searching for, but it still engulfed his lungs with pain that he in turn wasn't given an ounce of affection even if he was put in the hospital.
Karamatsu didn't want to cry but the tears spilled through his lids without a knob for the faucet in his heart.
Atsushi was surprised but guessed he should've known better since he was holding an injured man. Their bodies relaxed to fit into the mood that needed much coaxing. He carried Karamatsu to the bed where he pulled him close to his chest where the man cried until he fainted. Atsushi stayed awake for a few more hours to answer some emails on his phone and see his schedule for the next day.
