This is a poem I wrote about this girl who almost committed suicide until a woman showed up and told helped her realize the truth.

The Woman
There once was a woman
Of her story I will tell.
I think she was an angel,
But she could not sing that well
Her message was quite simple.
It was "God loves you."
These three little words touched my heart so well
Because its meaning is so true.
That message was so true:
God does love me and you, too.
About you, God really does care
That's why He sent His Son, so His kingdom He could share.
The day I met this woman,
I was going through much strife,
She told me that God gave me the choice of life or death,
And He wanted me to choose life
She said God had a plan and my troubles never had Him shocked:
He wanted to share my burden and beside me he always walked
I never did and never will walk alone,
For He will always be there like a steping stone.
She reminded me
when Christ went to calvary,
He did for me alone
What none could buy with a precious stone.
I did walk away that day just as everyone does,
But when I thought to ask her who or what she was,
She had miraculously disappeared,
Just as I had feared.
I never really did learn her name,
But forgiveness with her still came.
In that forgiveness there was also love,
That I had never felt before.
I knew it had to come from above
Because when I received it I never felt my shame anymore
