Prompt 14: Oq/Belle friendship

Regina can't say that she has always been kind with Belle no certainly not, she was well aware of this particular fact. And it's perhaps what stress her most when she saw Robin and Belle talked, she was afraid of those conversations not because she was jealous, but because it was a reminder. A reminder that Belle was Robin's friend and that they were in a sort of way close to each other and that scared her the most. What if Robin heard all the horrible things she has done to Belle, all the things she had been through because of her? What if he never forgives her? What if he hated her for this? She could spend hours with those thoughts, before, not anymore, not after the talk she had with Belle and Robin, she would always remember how the bookworm became her friend too, and how they put the past behind them once and for all.

It was an ordinary day (for once in Storybrook) one when you just want to stay in bed and enjoy the comfort of it, and also spend time with your family. That particular day when her alarm clock ring that was Regina's thoughts, she wanted to do nothing, after all, it was Saturday she had that right. But all those thoughts of laziness were all suddenly send away by a hurry Robin who jumped off the bed after he kissed her and went right to the bathroom. A million thoughts were in Regina's head at this time what the hell was happening to him? And quickly she remembered today Robin and she was spending the morning with Belle, and she would be waiting for them at Granny's for 9. Wonderful all a morning waste with the bookworm Regina's thought. She wasn't the type of person who hangs out with a friend, she never at the chance to do those things, especially when you have Cora for mother, so she wasn't really happy with that idea. She wasn't happy she was more afraid of it than anything else. She was scared of not acting like you should with "friend" but who could she knows how you act with friend everyone she had were all sent away by her mother for technically "protecting" her, of what she still thinking but whatever it always has been her life, not having friend, were lonely, and this morning spent with a "friend" wasn't helping to calm her nerves. Now she had no choices, she had to go with Robin, to meet their (of most his) friend.

It didn't take her long for taking her shower, dress up and put her make-up, after she kissed Henry and Roland who was babysitting by Emma they both went to Regina's car for their breakfast with Belle.

"Are you all right Regina ?" Robin asked her after less than 2 minutes in the car

"Yes, I'm alright Robin. Why?" she answered him with her best face

"You look a bit stress, my love"

"I'm not. Why should I, it's just Belle I went through worst than her" she answered him with a calm voice

"I'm sure of this but…Regina you know she forgave you no ?"

"What are you talking about ?"

"My love I always know what you did to her, and I know you changed and so did she"

"Robin I'm… I don't know why I'm feeling like this but I'm not feeling comfortable with this idea" she finally told him a part of the truth

" Why? Regina, you have to explain it to me please "

"Because I'm feeling guilty and scared" she finally told him after months of hiding the truth. They were in front of Granny's the car was stopped.

"Regina," Robin says taking her hand in his "You don't have to feel guilty, not anymore, yes you've made mistakes, like all of us, and yes you're not perfect, but you redeem yourself. You've been through a lot of things and now it's just time to forgive yourself, and forget the past, like Snow or Belle, have done. It's the past and you don't have to be scared of anything I will not let you because of who you have been, what matters to me it's who you are now. The woman I love is both Regina and the evil queen. I don't want you to stay trap in the past, it's already done and now we're here we are happy. Please, my love, focus on that, focus on the present and not on the past. Focus on our family, our love and the forgiveness " he said with love in his eyes

Some tears were in Regina's eyes, the way he talked to her, the way he could understand her more than anyone else, she was so lucky to have finally found him, she was so grateful. The first thing she did after his speech was to kiss him, roughly and she didn't want to stop but they were in her car in front of Granny's a Saturday morning they had to stop themselves before going too far.

"Thank you" was all she could say to him after this hot kiss and all his kind words to her and it was enough for both of them

"You're welcomed my love, and just for you to know I didn't say all those things for this wonderful kiss even if it was quite a gift," he said with a laugh

'Oh shut up Robin of Lockley or you will sleep on the couch tonight"

"Not a chance after this kiss my love I will miss you too much" and with that, he went out of the car waiting for Regina in front of the door

"Ready"

"Yes now I'm ready"

They walked through the door and search Belle in the restaurant, in less than 1 minute they saw her she was close to the door waiting for them.

"Hey Belle sorry we are a little late" Robin's say while they were sitting in front of her

" There is absolutely no problem," she says with a big smile on her face "how are you both ?"

"We're fine to thank you very much, dear, and you ?" Regina's answer Belle for the first time

'I'm fine thanks" she answers with a smile

"Belle ?" asked Regina with a little voice

"Yes Regina everything is alright ? " asked Belle

"Thank you for forgetting all I've done to you"

"Oh…you've changed Regina and you deserve to be forgiven once and for all it's normal"

"No, it's not normal I've done some terrible things in my past and you saw them and were in the middle of those "mistakes" for no reasons except because I wanted a revenge on Rumple, so sorry belle for all I've done to you and thank you for just letting all those things in the past"

"It's where they belong Regina, in the past. You know I'm not perfect ever, and I've also done some bad things,…so I understand bad decisions and I forgave you long ago. Now perhaps could we start to be real friends, what do you think of this ?"

"Real friend with the bookworm it could be interesting"

"Perfect than ladies I let you talk a few time I'm going to order or breakfast"

"We should have a toast at our new and powerful friendship no?"

"Absolutely Belle"

This conversation will always stay in Regina's mind, she will always be thankful to Belle for just forgave her and forgot all the not so glorious past behind them, this day she understood the joy of having a real friend who forgave you and with who you could spend happy time and it was amazing too that she could be sharing a friend with Robin. Since this realization of friendship, the 3 of them spend much more time together than they ever did before, it was just nice and easy now than every problem of the past have been forgetting and forgiving they were all sharing an interesting relationship full of trust and understanding.
