Cooking with Toriel, Episode 1, except everything doesn't go to heck. Based off of the amazing Source Filmmaker short I posted on my page yesterday, go check it out!

*Jazzy music intro*
Toriel: Are we live? Okay. Hello everybody! My name is Toriel and welcome to our lovely little cooking show! These are my assistants for today, Sans, Frisk and Papyrus! Today, we will be making a lovely 9-inch butterscotch-cinnamon pie, with all natural ingredients including cane sugar, cinnamon powder, and more that you can find at your local grocery store!

Sans: So first, we'll make the crust for the pie, by combining normal all-purpose flour, salt, sugar and butter.

Sans: To start the crust, mix 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, 2 sticks of chilled, unsalted butter cut in pieces and 1 teaspoon of salt and sugar in a medium sized bowl. You will need a pastry blender for mixing the butter.

Sans: After your flour, salt and sugar are all nice and mixed together, you will need your pastry blender for your butter, and mix until it looks like whatever "coarse meal" might be.

Toriel: After that is done, add 4 tablespoons of water, and mix with your hands until your dough comes together. If your dough is still crumbly, add more ice water, a tablespoon at a time, and up to 4 tablespoons. Remember to not overwork the dough, as well!

Sans: Now, divide your dough in half, flatten the halves into disks and refrigerate each of them seperately for 1 hour.

Papyrus: HEY! WHAT DID I MISS? YOU'RE MAKING THE PIE WITHOUT ME?! THE MASTER FIVE STAR CHEF AND FOOD CRITIC?!

Toriel: Now, calm down, Papyrus. We're not even done with the crust yet. We have to wait about an hour. In the meantime, enjoy these messages.

1 HOUR LATER

Toriel: We are back on air, and it has been one hour, so we are ready for more cooking!

Toriel: Next, to form the shell, roll the dough into a 14 inch round. Wrap it around a rolling pin, and carefully unroll it over a 9-inch plate.

Sans & Papyrus: NEXT, FIT THE DOUGH GENTLY INTO THE BOTTOM AND SIDE OF YOUR PLATE. USE KITCHEN SHEARS TO TRIM THE DOUGH TO A 1-INCH OVERHANG; FOLD IT UNDER, AND SEAL IT TO FORM A RIM.

*Sans and Papyrus look at each other in shock*

Toriel: *nervous laugh* Okay. Next is the last step in forming the crust. Crimp the rim of the dough very carefully with your fingertips and knuckle. Repeat this with your remaining dough in the same cycle: wrap each with plastic.

Sans: And there you go! Your pie crust is done. The filling will be quite easy, from what I've heard.

Toriel: Yes, Sans it will be.

Toriel: First off, you will want butterscotch pudding, milk and cinnamon powder, and that's all the ingredients you will be needing for now.

Sans: So start off by pouring your butterscotch pudding into a half a cup, and pouring your milk into a cup, and pouring both into a small bowl. Mix both these together for 1 or 2 minutes and add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and mix for another 2 minutes.

Toriel: Before you do that, though, pre-heat your oven to 400° F.

Toriel: Then, when you are done with the filling, pour it into your pie crust and put it in your oven, and let it bake for 35 minutes.
While this bakes, enjoy these messages from our sponsors.

35 MINUTES LATER

Toriel: Well, everybody, I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. I hope you enjoyed the first episode of our cooking show! We will all see you again sometime soon!

*Everyone in unison* GOODBYE!

*Toriel, Sans, Frisk, Asriel and Papyrus are all sitting around the kitchen table*

Papyrus: WOW, THAT PIE LOOKS GOOD!

Sans: Yeah, it does.

Toriel: Now, everyone, have your manners and don't put up a fight for whichever is the biggest piece. I will be in charge of slicing it.

*Toriel neatly slices the pie*

*Everyone grabs a piece and puts it on their plate*

Toriel: Wow, this is really good.

Sans: *mouth full* I WANT ANOTHER PIE

Papyrus: *mouth full, also* ME TOO! *points to himself*

Asriel: Mother, I think it's great.

Toriel: I'm very glad you all think it's good. Frisk, I see your plate is already clean.

Frisk: *nods vigorously*

Toriel: Well, I think we can say that this was a success.

Sans: You can say that again.

Asriel: Well, I think we can sa-

Toriel: Okay now, Asriel, be good.

*Asriel giggles*

THE END

I hope you're happy, I had to get an actual recipe for butterscotch pie and follow it to the barebones (no pun intended)
