The love I tended since my youth,
At the riverbank, it took root.
Just hoping it would bloom,
Sustained me in this world of gloom.

Our bond was so right, so pure,
Anything, it could endure.
Unshakable I thought it would be.
Oh, how naive of me…

What happened, I'll never know...
When did the rot grow?
What shattered the trust?
What made your feelings rust?

What we lived to accomplish,
So close to seeing it finish.
Our precious dream too,
Became something you rue.

Is it possible to feel this cold,
How much hatred can my heart hold?
Only you can do this me,
My ugliest facet only you will see.

Madara, my dear…
Your fire might sear,
But today, your heart-
I will rip apart.
