After the episode went to commercial, Dean couldn't help but to bite his bottom lip. He was so worried about Roman. The big dog was currently in 's office after telling everybody in the arena that he was tired of Brock Lesnar not showing his face week after week on Monday Night Raw. Not before saying that Brock was Vince's Boy.
Dean knows his boss. He's probably giving a hard time to Roman, for daring saying things like that live on television. He grabbed his cellphone of the table next to the sofa and proceeds to text him right away. Dean wasn't a big fan of social media and cellphone thingy, he always responds to messages a way tad too late. With his elbow injured, he promised Roman that he would try to be more effective with this.
Before he finishes his text, the episode went back on with Renee in front of the door of 's door, waiting for some signs of what is happening. He smiles at the sight of his wife, she was beautiful like always. He considered himself lucky to have a wife who understood his feelings.
It did scare Dean for a moment. When he realized he was in love with Roman, and the feeling was mutual, he was scared of losing Renee. He was scared that she wouldn't understand that he's still completely in love with her, despite his feelings for his best friend. Though when Dean admitted to her his feelings for Roman, she just smiled and put his forehead against her.
'' I somehow always knew. If he agrees, we can make this work. ''
Just by this sentence, Dean knew he was the luckiest man in the world. A beautiful wife who shares a home with him and a handsome boyfriend that he gets to see from time to time after work. He was lucky both of them treated each other almost like best friend. She was so open-minded about this that they even have a room in their house for Jojo and the twins when Roman can have the kids. As far as they were aware, Galina didn't know about their relationship and Jojo and the twins are all too young to understand. Per chance, Roman and Galina did stay in good terms.
The young man sees the door of the office opens to see Roman exit the room. Renee tries to have a talk with him for what happened in the office, but Roman completely ignored the camera and leaves while exits the office and smiled at Renee. He listens to his boss, saying things about Brock being on Monday night raw, next Monday. Then the next sentence just freezes Dean to the guts.
'' Roman Reigns is temporarily suspended ''
He couldn't believe his ears.
He suspended him for what. Telling the truth?
He could see the look on his wife's face; she must be thinking the same thing as him. She would probably go and see him backstage while she wasn't doing any interviews.
He opened his cellphone in a rush and speed dial Roman's number. He was biting his nails to blood, but he didn't care. The younger man had to talk to him, to know he was okay and that he wasn't doing something stupid.
No answer.
It went to voicemail instead.
'' Hey Ro, call me when you hear this. Love you. '' He said before hanging up. He then decided to send Renee a text, basically saying to tell Roman to call him whenever he can. She answers that she went looking for and didn't found him. His things in the locker room were gone too.
Ok.
No need to panic.
He will call back. He has too.
The auburn haired man then proceeds to watch the rest of the episode, wishing for some sign of him on television or his cellphone.
While watching Braun Strowman owning all the battle royal for the tag team opportunities at Wrestlemania by himself, Dean couldn't help but chuckle. It would be kind of funny to see the monster be the tag team champion by himself. That would be something he never saw before. The match was almost at the end and his cellphone began vibrating on the couch. He answered while not looking at the screen, a mistake he always did with his cellphone.
'' Roman? ''
He heard a sigh, and he realized it's not Roman. It was Seth. '' Not quite, sorry. Just wanted to tell you that I saw him leaving the building, saying something about the airport. ''
The airport? Wasn't he supposed to stay in a hotel for the night?
Dean sighs and closes his eyes, sensing a headache coming slowly. '' Thanks for the heads up, keep me posted if you hear something from him, please. ''
'' Ditto, bro. See ya. ''
Dean hung up his cellphone and notice that Strowman did win the battle royal. Sheamus and Cesaro's face are priceless. He couldn't help but laugh at this situation.
He turns off the television and decides to lie down, while gripping his cellphone close to his chest, wishing it could just ring. He just wants to hear Roman's voice, to know that he's ok. After a while, he must have fallen asleep when suddenly he woke up when he heard a sound. For a second he thought it was probably Blue, but then he heard footstep.
'' Babe? ''
Dean looked at the clock on the wall to notice it was past midnight. He then got up to see Roman by the entrance of the living room, his bags by his feet.
He the approached him carefully, still not believing he was here. '' Why didn't you call me? I left you a voicemail. I was so worried. ''
'' I'm sorry, my phone was dead and I swear I think I forgot my charger at the arena. '' Roman said while looking everywhere but Dean's face. The young man approaches him and places his hands on Roman's face.
'' Wanna talk about what happened? But before we do that, take my cellphone and call Renee, she was worried too. '' Dean said while taking his phone and pushing it against the older man's chest. The big dog sighs and took the cellphone and proceeds like Dean told him to do.
As the Ohioan man left the room with Roman's bags in his hands, he carefully placed them in the closet of their bedroom. When he came back, Roman was hanging up, gave back his cellphone and sat on the sofa while putting his hands on his face. Dean approaches his lover quietly and sat next to him.
'' I saw what happened on the show. I think what you did was right; I would have done the same thing. '' Dean tries to comfort him, but can see he's failing miserably The older man wasn't moving, but Dean had no doubt that he did listen to him. The blue-eyed man decided then to put his arms around his big shoulder and kiss the side of his head. He senses the big man relax a bit by his touch.
'' It's only temporary, Vince will realize he needs you, faster than you think ''
Roman put his hands down and then this head to look right into Dean's blue eyes. They held so much love for him. He was grateful to know that no matter what happens, he will always have this man by his side.
He put one arm around dean's tiny waist and put him in his lap. '' Yeah. I know. The way I see it, It means I have a free week from media stuff and all. Think you can live with me being here for a whole week? ''
The younger man grinned at him then put his arms around his shoulder. '' I don't know. I think I need some convincing. ''
Roman uses his body weight advantage to get up of the couch, while still holding Dean in his arms. '' I think I have a trick or two. ''
He then proceeds to the stair, where it leads to their room. While still holding the younger man, they arrive in their shared room where he pushes Dean on the bed and the Ohioan looks right into his lover's eye. Roman grinned at him before taking of his t-shirt.
'' Let the fun begin! ''
