A/N: This is one of 2 one-shot stories called Blackout for the Livewire episode I'll be releasing together, with different plots. One is this one, obviously, and the other will be an M rated story containing an explicit scene between Kara and Cat.
"Thank you for sharing that with me, Mrs. Grant," Kara said genuinely, "I appreciate you sharing those personal details with your lowly assistant," she added, the last part mildly sarcastic.
"Yeah, I'm not sure why I did, Kara," Cat said, "But I'm glad I did. You're as good a listener as you are beautiful."
"Uh, thanks," Kara said, very faintly uncomfortable with the fact that her older female boss seemed to be flirting with her.
Cat approached her, and Kara felt a finger brush her chin, then a set of soft lips very softly brushed Kara's. They only made contact for a split second, but Kara could almost feel sparks between them.
"You're so young, and beautiful, and sometimes you remind me of that gorgeous Supergirl," Cat said with a half smile as she brushed Kara's hand, "speaking of her, can you perhaps contact her again, like you did for that interview? I'd like to see her go up against Livewire," Cat said.
"Yeah, sure, I'll see what I can do, Mrs. Grant."
"Oh, call me Cat."
