1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHUN

When Shun saw his friends on his doors with stupid grins on their faces, he knew there was something about to happen. Something really bad.

It was morning, and because he just finished his ninja training he was really tired. He didn't slept well that night which hadn't helped his mood.

Thanks God that gramps wasn't here. He still didn't like Shun's friends.

Shun stretched his head and tried not to yawn. His long black hair was tied up with a ponytail, and his light brown eyes where in upset mood which wasn't unusual for him. He had a black shirt, covered with a thin purple triangular-backed ending and black pants with a brown zipper like designs on around them as always.

Grin on his best friend's face was biggest and he was looking at Shun like he was his favorite person in the world.

"Ok, Dan, spit it out," said Shun with sight.

But Dan wasn't the one to first speak out. It was hyperactive girl in pink outfit with white fingerless gloves and white boots that matches her white hair who literally jumped on Shun screaming "Happy birthday, Shun!"

"It's not my birthday yet," said Shun in annoyed tone.

"Oh, I know that," Julie laughed "But it's soon and we wanted to surprise you!"

Oh great. – Shun though, but said "You did surprise me but I have some ninja stuff to do."

Shun was really good liar when he wanted to be, but that was an excuse whenever he wanted to be alone.

Dan looked at him with suspicious eyes. "Really?"

"Come on, Shun, we all know that that is your favorite excuse," said small blonde boy with knowing smile.

"But I have!" tried Shun again.

"We know that you are lying," said Julie with wink.

"Why don't you just have fun with us for once?" asked Dan.

"Yeah!" Runo agreed.

Shun surrendered with sight. "Ok. So, what's on your mind?"

"We decided to send you to ninja camp this month," said Alice sweetly.

"Ninja – what?" Shun shouted. He couldn't believe his ears.

"Ninja camp. Camp for ninjas. N-i-n-j-a-c-a-m-p," said Dan.

"I heard it well, Dan," Shun said darkly "I just can't believe what I'm hearing! Seriously? A ninja camp? Why would I need that?"

"Because you are a ninja, and you can show them what means to be real ninja." Dan had huge grin on his face again.

"Ninja's aren't supposed to show their skills to others."

"Who cares? You can say that you are just talented."

"What about gramps? You forgot about him." That was Shun's last hope to get out of that mess.

"Actually, we didn't. We talked with him before few days. And guess what? He likes an idea!"

Oh great. What a betrayer! – Shun though. "I don't think that my gramps would like something like that."

"He said that ninja camp is great opportunity for you to meet other ninjas and see what enemy got," Julie exclaimed.

Enemy? Gramps is going insane. – Shun though.

"Great. And now I should be happy because he got everything wrong. We all know that there won't be any other ninja. There will be bunch of kids who want to become a ninja because of ninja movies."

"Yes, but your grandpa doesn't know that," said Marucho.

Shun sighed giving up. "Ok, guys. If you want to torture me for my own birthday, I will go with that fucking ninja camp. I will endure it just like I endure Dan everyday."

Everyone shouted in happiness except from Dan who tried to hit Shun with his fist, but Shun easily dodge it and jumped on the roof.

Happy birthday to you, Shun. – Shun though darkly to himself.
