Join Vaila and friends as they travel through the Citadel and have a few gunfights along the way. This is also my first story. Please leave reviews!

I do not own Mass Effect or anything else in here, except for my characters of course.

Vaila was at the local bar when the Turian came up to her.

"Care to dance with me?" he said politely

"Drop the gentleman routine, stuff like that doesn't work on me", she said and then smiled as the Turian looked on at her with a nervous expression on his face. "Oh, and about that dance. Why not?" she added and the Turian looked visibly relieved. Vaila finished the rest of her drink and took his arm as he led her to the dance floor in the middle of the club.

"So, do you come here often?" he asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Often enough", she said and then added, "I work for C-sec and headquarters is just a few blocks away from here, just by Flux."

"So why don't you go there instead of this place?"

"Flux is too crowded most of the time and the gambling machines make too much noise, plus the dance floor is too small for my likes", and then, "I love to dance.

They both danced for a little while as the Turian cracked jokes and Vaila giggled in the way she does.

"Hey, you're funnier than I thought you would be!" Vaila said after he told a joke involving a male and female human and how they look so much alike. "I didn't catch your name, what was it again?" she asked him.

"Oh, sorry", he said with a tinge of nervousness, "My name is Vakrian Jardos."

"Well Vakrian Jardos", Vaila said with a sly smile, "Why don't we grab some drinks and talk a little more."

"Fine with me", he said and they walked to the bar on the fare side of the club and ordered their drinks.

"You never told me your name." Vakrian said to Vaila.

"My name", said Vaila while picking up her drink that just arrived, "is Vaila Vakarian."

"Like the famous Garrus Vakarian?!" he said stunned.

"Oh, I hate when this happens! It's just a coincidence; I'm not even from the same planet as Garrus. Sometimes I wish I could change my name to something else." she said slightly agitated.

"Oh, I'm so sorry…. I ah….um just wanted to know your name." he said with panic.

"It's okay, I know you didn't mean anything by it", she said and as Vakrian still looked around with panic she added, "You couldn't have known, it wasn't that big of a deal anyway.

"So you said you work for C-sec?" he asked after a brief moment of awkward silence.

"Yeah, I work for the investigation department."

"So, do you keep a pistol on you at all times?"

"Two actually" and she gestured to her hip with her open hand.

"I told you what I do", she said to Vakrian, "now why don't you tell me what you do?"

"I'm a technician, I had a job close to here and I decided it would do me some good to relax a little bit."

"WHERE IS THE BASTARD!?" came the loud shout from the door of the club. In the doorframe, struggling to fit through it, was a Krogan….and it was brandishing a shotgun in their direction.
