Chapter 1
One day Lorelai is outside with thier 5 year old daughter Jessika helping her get on her horse in the stable when Adam comes out helping thier daughter Jade who is just learning how to walk.
''there's Mommy.'' Adam says
the baby gives Lorelai a big gummy smile.
''Hi sweetie Hi baby okay you all set all?'' Lorelai asks
''awll set!'' Jessika says
''okay I'll walk you out.'' Lorelai says and takes the horses reins and walks her out into the field
''okay go ahead just be careful sweetie.'' Lorelai tells her and watches her ride for a second then goes back to the barn to go and get Adam and the baby
Lorelai picks up Jade ''come on I want to go watch Jessika ride to make sure she's okay.'' Lorelai tells him
''okay.'' he says and goes with her to stand next to her to watch Jessika ride her horse
''you think she's ready for her show?'' he asks her
''yea I think she's more then ready.'' Lorelai tells him
''good.'' Adam says
''yea.'' she says holding the baby
''where's Drew and Amber'' he asks her
''I don't know I think Drew is inside playing his video games and I don't know where Amber is she's probably just out.'' she tells him
''oh okay.' he says
''so how's Rory have you heard from her lately?'' Adam asks her
''yea she's doing fine she's very busy with work.'' she tells him
''is something wrong you just seem very involved in Jessika lately and havn't really paid any attention to jade or to me.'' he tells her
''that's not true Adam I do pay attention to Jade and to you so don't be saying that I'm just a little stressed just a lot to get ready for on Saturday.'' she tells him
''fine.'' he says
''ugh Adam do not have an attitude with me.'' she tells him
Adam walks away and goes back inside leaving Jade with Lorelai as she watches Jessika ride.
