At the Loud house's living room, Lana was going upstairs when she saw Leni grabbing and shaking a nearby clock. "Come on, you stupid clock!" the fashionista loudly demanded. "Tell, like, the actual time!"
"Whoa, hold it right there, Leni!" Lana remarked as she ran to Leni's side. "What's wrong?"
"I'm trying to, like, get this clock to tell the actual time, but it, like, refuses to listen to me!" the fashionista answered.
"Leni, stop harassing the clock!" Lana ordered, and the teenager did as told almost immediately. "Listen up, that's not the way to get the clock to tell the actual hour."
"Oh right, I got to use my head!" Leni said, pointing at her head.
Then Leni started slamming her head against the clock, while Lana flinched with each successive hit. "Wait, no, that doesn't work either!" the tomboy said.
"Yeah, it feels like it won't work," Leni said as she stopped banging her head against the object. "What do you say we do, Lana darling?"
The tomboy took off her hat, and from there took out a wrench. "I'll deal with this!" Lana stated proudly.
And then, almost as if on cue, Lana started to slam her wrench against the clock. "A little beating should get this thing working properly!" Lana stated. "Leni, tell me if it's working!"
But once the fashionista saw the clock wasn't changing at all, she said, "No, it's not working," and watche Lana stop in disappointment. "What other option do we have?"
The tomboy scratched her chin as she hummed in contemplation, and soon afterwards, she tried slamming Leni against the object in question. Needless to say, this didn't work either. "Okay, I didn't want to have to do this, but we have to manipulate the system!" Lana stated before taking a look at an actual working clock nearby. "It's 11:30 pm, so move the big and small arrows to the corresponding spot."
Leni immediately went to the clock and checked, but since it didn't have any numbers she could understand, the task was easier said than done. Nevertheless, she moved them once...
"No, that's 6:42 pm." Lana stated.
Then she moved them again...
"That's 3:22 am." the tomboy remarked.
And then she moved them again...
"There we go!" the mud lover stated with glee, before giving her older sister a big hug.
"Eat it, clock!" Leni told the machine. "Now we know what the actual time is!"
Then the clock actually moved it's arrows on its own, causing the duo to freak out and flee.
