I know you guys are waiting for the next chapter of "The Wrath of Vengeance". I'm working on it and I promise I will post it as soon as I finish it. Today I was browsing on YouTube and I found some episodes of Arthur. That show is an important piece of my childhood. I remember my eyes being glued to the TV every time it was on and I still watch it today (yes I watch a show made for a younger audience and I am proud of it and I don't care what you have to say about it!) Arthur is one of those shows that's educational to kids but still has good age-appropriate humor added to it. It always helped me understand the world better and made me laugh at the same time. So anyways I was watching the World Girl episode and the craze Muffy, Francine and Sue Ellen had with it made me think of how DW would act if she wanted her own world girl. I decided to write it all in this cute fan fic. Enjoy!

"Have you ever wanted something real bad but couldn't get it because of how pricey it is?" Arthur asked into the camera as he walked on stage. "We all have. Like the time I wanted that new Bionic Bunny action figure."

(flashback to Arthur and his mom walking in All in One Mart, Arthur sees the latest Bionic Bunny on the shelf.)

"Cool! The new Bionic Bunny action figure!" Arthur said happily as he picked the box up. He then walked up to his mother. "Mom, I brought my own money. Can I get it? Please?"

"I don't know honey." his mother replied. "That depends on the price. Do you have enough?"

Arthur took a look at the price tag on the Bionic Bunny. "Aw man." he groaned. "No way I can afford this, I only brought $11.57."

The camera then fades back to Arthur on the stage. "Or the time where DW wanted a new boom box."

(Another flashback shows the Read family walking past the electronic section in All-in-One Mart. DW notices a brand new, silver, expensive boom box. She ran up to her parents took their hands and dragged them up to it.

"Mommy, Daddy can I have it? Please, please, please, PLEASE?" begged DW.

"No DW." David replied firmly.

"Why not?" asked DW in a tone as if she's about to cry.

"Well first of all it's very expensive." Jane explained. "And secondly the boom box you have now is working perfectly. Why would you need this big thing?"

"My boom box is too small." DW replied. "Plus this one's shiny."

"Sorry DW, but we just don't have the money." David explained to their daughter.

"Take it out of Arthur's college funds." suggested DW as if that was the answer. Arthur gave her an annoyed glare.

"No DW!" David responded starting to loose his patience.

The camera once again faded back to Arthur who continued his lines. "But you can always come up with ways to earn the money." he then showed his latest Bionic Bunny action figure. "I earned the rest of the money by raking leaves for Grandma Thora. As everyone always say, you appreciate better when you work for it."

"Easy for you to say!" DW barged in. "You're older and stronger then me. You can earn big bucks in a split second while I have to wait AGES to get my allowance! Do you have any idea how miserable I feel getting only five dollars a week Arthur Read?" she then stormed out.

"Unless for DW, crying about it and throwing tantrums is considered working." added in Arthur before the screen fades black.

I know it's short but I will add on to it eventually. And for those of you who read my Ice Age stories, in case you are wondering I am still working on "The Wrath of Vengeance" so no need to freak out. I'm starting the next chapter on it already. I just have so much free time with my school closed thanks to Sandy that I decided to do some multitasking with both stories at once and see how it goes. Keep a look out for new things posted from me!
