Arthur? Where Are you? I an't see anything.

Arthur isn't here anymore.

W-what are you talking about? This isn't funny, Arthur.

He's gone. Forever. His heart stopped.

Who are you? Go away! Get out of here!

Its true look.

The body was veiled in crimson liquid, wounds covering the previously flawless skin. Green eyes were hazed over with death, and smelled of rot. Skin was pale, and the usual thump… thump… thumping of his strong heart had faded away. he lay on the ground, in an alley. The murderer had run, afraid he'd be caught.

"A-arthur? Arthur? No!" I felt pain well up in my chest, my blue eyes filled with salty tears. I took off my glasses and sat next to Arthur. All the blood had drained out of his body. I lifted him up and held the upper half of his lifeless body.

He was cold to the touch, and his spirit was long gone.

"No… No, Arthur you can't leave me like this. You… I…. I l-love you Arthur, please! COME BACK!" Finally my voice cracked and I couldn't breath, so I just sobbed. Painful tears ran down my cheeks.

Alfred…

No.. thats not him. Its a lie.

Alfred…

It can't be….

ALFRED!

"ALFRED! Wake up!"

I shot up in my bed, tears streaming down my face. I looked over and saw Arthur sitting worriedly beside my bed.

Before I could think I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried.

"Love, whats the matter?"

"I-I … You… Blood….. "

"What? You'll have to speak louder."

"I h-had a dream… You were dead, in an alley…. covered in blood. And… and I was scared. Please… Please don't die, Arthur!"

Arthur hugged me, and rubbed my back in small, slow circles. He whispered softly into ,my ear, "Don't worry. It was just a nightmare. I'm alive, and you are alive. I love you. It's ok, love, it's ok. Don't be afraid." After several minutes he pulled back, then wiped the tears from my face.

"W-will you…. Sleep with me tonight?"

His emerald eyes met with my own blue ones, and he nodded softly. I moved over a little, and he slipped under the covers with me. Wrapping our arms around each other, we got comfortable my head nestled under his own.

He pressed his soft lips to my forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, my dear. I love you. Forever and for always.
