Evangeline
I stared at the angel-like boy as he drifted across the floor, in a split second his face changed into the complete opposite. His eyes glowed blood red and his body was tensed in a predator like stance, suddenly he was holding me. I screamed as he bit my neck and saw his face one last time as everything blacked out.
Chapter 1
I woke up with a start; I had been having the same dreams for weeks now. I turned over and looked at my phone. 6:15
I pulled myself out of bed and went into my bathroom. I lived with my Mum who I didn't see a lot and I was happy not too. The only times I saw her was if I was going to get a glass of water in the night and saw her coming back from work. Mum and I didn't get along very well so we just kind of kept away from each other.
I turned the shower on, stripped off and jumped in.
I turned the shower off and stepped out, I quickly grabbed some black leggings, a grey top and a green plain hoodie pulled some black chucks on and blow dried my hair then went down to the kitchen.
I grabbed my keys and left the house quickly. It was still really early so I decided to walk. As I walked down I heard the shower go on in the house.
I changed my mind about walking. I drove to school.
I parked my car and walked over to some people, I tapped them both on the shoulder and my two best friends turned around.
"Hey Ever." My best friend Christina yelled.
"Hi Ever." My other friend Erin said.
"Hi guys, what exactly are you doing?" They were perched on Erin's car faced to the gate.
"Well, we heard that there would be some new people coming." Erin said.
Suddenly the bell rang and everyone started heading inside. We headed to our classes in a rush.
I sat down at my table taking out all my things and getting ready.
Halfway through our class some people came in. These must be one of the new people.
"Hello, you must be one of the new people. Would you like to introduce yourself?" The teacher said.
When this guy turned around I couldn't stop staring. He was short like me, he had light brown hair, tanned skin and blue ocean eyes.
"Hi, my name is Josh Hoad. I came from Australia. I have a smaller brother and a sister. My family moved here because my father got a job and I'm really enjoying my time here so far."
I swear his eyes flickered to me when he said the last part.
Pretty much all the girls were fainting at the sight of him. Then I just realised that my table was the only empty one. Great.
