A/N Note: My Syaroan/Sakura songfic with Chinese song lyrics! Thanks again to 宇理歌 for her translations and for her awesomeness in teaching me Chinese (I have an old textbook in my hand right now from her...4th grade level...and I'm a high schooler...-_-")
A/N Note: Don't get the lyrics? Run them through Google Translate (which doesn't really work), or search it up on YouTube and hope they have English subscripts (Muhaha, the torture I'm putting you through!)
A/N Note: Me: Since Syaroan is fom Hong Kong (香港), he'd know Chinese, right? Ha, my idea is logical! You: Who said it wasn't?
Sakura saw a lone bird, flying southward to his new home for the winter. For some unknown reason, tears sprang into her eyes, as the bird reminded her of someone else. Syaroan. Like the bird, he had flown "south" back to Hong Kong, his home.
The goose had tears in his eyes. Sakura wondered why. Was it because of the rain that had just finished pouring down, or was the goose really sad?
The goose was flying, flying south toward its loved ones. Sakura thought as she remorsed. It doesn't want to be left alone, stranded in Tomoeda for the winter, with no one to talk to, to play with. It wanted to be with others, feeling the love in the air.
Sakura, was in a sense, "stranded". She longed for the happy days when she and Syaroan skipped toward the teddy bear museum with Tomoyo and he crush, Eriol. She smiled wistfully as she remembered how both of them seemed to blush when their eyes met. After some awesome matchmaking on Sakura's part, they confessed their love and started dating.
Nii-chan loved her. So did otou-san and Yukito-san, but it wasn't the same.
When she wasn't with Syaroan, it felt like she was carrying a burden on her chest. When she was, her heart was flying, flying with the wind as she was carried by the winds of Love. Whenever her heart rode them, Sakura had instantly felt happy, at ease. It was like the winds were made especially for her.
After Syaroan left, though, she hardly rode them. They seemed to be only for when he was here, and when he wasn't, Sakura just didn't have the heart.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Syaroan was walking home from a day trying to calm down his cousin, Mei-Ling. He spotted a bird, alone as it made it's annual migration south. What was so strange, though, was that it seemed to crying tears of sadness, as droplets fell from the goose into Syaroan's hands.
The goose was probably crying tears of loneliness, Syaroan realized, as the bird flew south to join with its friends once more. Syaroan felt the longing to go to Tomoeda, too, but couldn't. He had to endure his days in Hong Kong without her.
Syaroan wondered how long untill he could ask his mother, Yelan, to go to Tomoeda. It was weighing down his heart every day, and every day he feared that it would break.
Sakura knew only one thing: she wanted Syaroan to visit soon.
Syaroan came to a conclusion: He had to visit Tomoeda soon.
Both agreed, miles and miles away, about their love for another.
And both felt the same way as the lone bird flying south.
A/N Note: My second attempted songfic, DONE! It's totally better than my first (at least, in my opinion). Want to read my first songfic, about Percabeth? Go to my profile :)
