Revalations: An Akatsuki Fic
It's common knowledge that the organization known as "Akatsuki" is not exactly normal. Members consist of a man who killed his entire family, a half shark, a half puppet, someone with 4 mouthes, someone with tentacles, an immortal man with an extremely foul mouth, a hyper and seemingly mentally ill man, and a man with a two color face and a plant on his head. Then there is the mysterious Leader, Pein, who seems to be addicted to the piercing parts of malls, and his partner Konan who seems oddly obssessed with paper. Ask anyone and they will tell you: this is the definition of weird.
Needless to say, they get a few odd looks when shopping. "Deidara…I love you, but your hands are licking mine. AGAIN!"
"Where's the human meat section…? I'm hungry…"
"TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!!! DON'T EAT TOBI ZETSU-SEMPAI!! TOBI LOVES SEMPAI!"
"OOO piercings look Konan!"
"Sorry, Danna, sorry! They have minds of they're own!"
"Kisame, take me to where they have the canes."
"OK then Itachi…let's go. AND YOU PEOPLE STOP STARING! HAVEN'T YOU EVER SEEN A HALF FISH!?"
"Where the fucking hell is the damn weapons?! THIS FUCKING STORE IS SO CONFUSING YOU BASTARDS!!"
"Hmm sewing equipment…aisle 10."
"What kind of paper, construction…or origami style…then what color?"
What is not widely publicized is that 8/10 of the Akatsuki is not straight. They have fallen for their respective partners and prove everyday that S rank criminals need and can love. There's Sasori and Deidara, the puppet without strings, and the pyrotechnic, explosion happy boy. Two artists that disagree completely with each other's styles, yet can still respect and love one another.
Zetsu doesn't say much, not much at all, so it seems odd for him to have fallen for the loud and spazztic man in the orange mask. Zetsu rarely ever shows or broadcasts his affection for said man, where-as Tobi is constantly hugging and screaming about his love.
There's Itachi and Kisame, the Beauty and the Beast type story of the group. Itachi has always been praised for his looks and talents, while Kisame had always been picked on and torn down. Both seek understanding and solace in the other, and that's exactly what they find.
Kakuzu and Hidan are perhaps the craziest couple. For Hidan is always shouting explitives while Kakuzu sits and sighs, waiting until he is off his tagent so that an enjoyable conversation can be had. Hidan, being immortal is generally the bearer of Kakuzu's frustrations as he can hurt him as much as needed to relieve stress, and fix him up later. Hidan sees it as his duty in the relationship to be an outlet for the masked man.
Not much is known about the relationship between Pein and Konan, only that there are in love…and seem to spend a lot of time alone.
S rank criminals, and secret organizations, no matter how strange or grotesque still need love and find it in their, dare I say, friends. That, is a revalation the world may not be ready for though, so keep the Akatsuki's secret quiet. You wouldn't want to disapoint their fangirls would you?
