When you Where Mine
Hermione and Ron had just had one of their biggest and worst fights ever. Hermione was on her way to go see Ginny. She really needed someone to talk to and who better than her best friend, plus she knew Ginny would yell at Ron later for it. Just as she was about to knock the door swung open. Harry walked straight in to her.
"Oh! Hermione? Sorry, its just Ginny is mad at me again. Wait? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at home with Ron?" His dazed looked turned in to confusion.
"Ron and I got in to a row, too just needed to talk to Ginny but I guess this really isn't a good time." She looked at the closed door and imagined her best friend pacing around the kitchen table like she always did when she had a problem. She was probably cursing t Harry, who had fled for his life with her screaming at the top of her lungs.
"Well then let go for a walk. I'm sure we both need it. Some peace and quiet."
"The swings then?" She started off I the fastest paces she could.
"So what happened with you and Ron? Did he forget his alphabet again?" Harry teased her; his smile had come back full circle.
"No," Hermione laughed, "he for got our anniversary again."' She pulled the sleeves of her jacket down so she could hold the stone cold chains holding her swing up. "What about you and Ginny?"
"Apparently she called me over 50 times when I was in Welsh. She got to thinking that I was with other women." Harry sighed at the thought.
"Her and Ron do jump to conclusions a lot don't they?"
The thunder struck and lightning flashed across the sky. It started to shower down on them. Hermione gave out a little yelp of surprise. Harry pulled out and umbrella and walked her to a bench.
"Thanks Harry. Ginny might not realize it but she really is quite lucky." Hermione smiled at him wholeheartedly.
"Herm, you know Ron can be a git. Just give it sometime something's bound to get better." Harry kissed her on the forehead like he always did. Then he looked at her eyes and held her chin. This time he kissed her on the lips. She was shocked but she didn't pull away. When their lips broke she avoided his eyes, and his face entirely. She was afraid if he looked at her again that she might want to kiss him more.
"Harry what was that about?"
"Hermione did you ever think that there was a reason why we where never happy with anyone other than each other?"
"Harry! Stop! Talking like that! You have Ginny, and I have Ron and that's the way it's meant to be."
"You had Ron, and I had Ginny, And now I have you and that's the way I want it to be." He kissed her again and she had no intention of breaking away.
