**THE STEPS OF A SPIRAL***
Fluttershy sighed contentedly, waving from the doorway of her cottage as her friends trotted down the path. Shutting the cottage door shut with a small click the gentle Pegasus moved to her couch, settling herself into it comfortably. Angel Bunny hopped up next to her, snuggling into the soft hairs of her tail.
"Oh Angel" Fluttershy giggled, the sound a soft tinkle in the air. The butter cream coloured mare gave the hare next to her a gentle pat one the rabbit leant into happily. As she stared at her pet next to her, her mind wandered off, starting to think about her wonderful afternoon she had just had. The element of kindness had spent it with her fellow elements of harmony, her best friends. Despite how awful the past few days had been her friends had come around, and they had lifted her spirits. The gentle Pegasus now felt like she could take on a hurricane, or scale a mountain maybe even build a pyramid! That was the joys of friends, they had shown her that no matter how far down life sent you, you could always climb back up. A smile lit up her features, etching a grin into her face.
"I feel like a fly." Fluttershy gently picked Angel out of her tail and leapt of the couch, heading for the door. Opening it, wind gushed in, normally Fluttershy would have crawled back to her couch shivering, but the cold winds further lifted her spirits. She could take on anything! With a determined smile the mare unfurled her wings, the wind catching them, the feathers ruffling with the strong breeze. Giving a experimental flap of her wings, Fluttershy took off running, her hooves pounding against the grass, her muscles coiled like a spring as she sprang into the air. She was flying. The Pegasus gave a melodious laugh and swooped low to the ground, before her wings caught the air and carried her back up. The wind rushed at her face, making her squint her teal eyes, but she loved it. Her heart pounded with adrenaline as each flap of her wings matched the beat of her heart. Fluttershy soared over the skies, her mane and tail rippling around her as she flew gracefully across the place of no boundaries, here she was having the time of her life, despite everything bad that had happened these past few days. How, you may ask, how could Fluttershy get back in her hooves after the terrors of life? It was because she knew how to enjoy the pleasures of life, if you have something, enjoy it, and don't ever let it go.. Fluttershy now knew how to climb the ladder of enjoyment, the steps of a spiral. The steps of life.
