Lex Luthor stood in a building outside of France staring out the window. He was so close to achieving what he wanted at this point. The cloning of a person was going better then he could hope. This
was slightly different from cloning Conner since he had the human at
his disposal if he needed anything. He knew he would have to return
the man soon. But eventually he'd be ready to unleash the clones.
He'd finally have his revenge on the people who had taken things
from him. He already got his revenge on Alexander Luthor now it was his turn to get revenge on Nightwing AKA Dick Grayson and the
Justice League. They had ruined everything.
"Mr. Luthor?"
He turned around to face one of his scientists, Ron Taylor standing
there. "Yes?"
"Did you want me to drug Nightwing? He's starting to come to."
"Of course I want him drugged. We don't want him knowing he was
missing." Good help was hard to find. "He'll be dropped back off
in a couple of hours so make sure the drug isn't that strong."
"Of course Mr. Luthor." He said and hurried away.
Lex turned around to his makeshift desk where he was keeping files
on everything he found out about Grayson. From his own observations
and the observations of the people who had fought him. He didn't
think it would be too hard to fool people. They wouldn't know they
were clones until it's too late.
He picked up a picture that he had taken by one of his operatives a
few years back in Hawaii of a boy who didn't have a name at the time
other then Superboy. He was on the beach with people he only knew
of as Roxy, Tana, and Dubilex thought Dubilex looked human in the
picture. He hard heard that they had used Roxy's DNA to save
Superboy and he had saved a file on that.
Then he looked at a picture of the same kid now known as Kon-El with his teammates, Young Justice. It was taken in Washington DC before they left to fight in the war. He had been glad to hear that Kon-El had come back okay.
Then the other picture on his desk was of a young man in a t-shirt
with an S-Shield on it and jeans. Now he was going by Conner Kent.
He wondered if there was any connection between him and Clark Kent.
If this cloning attempt was a success he'd bring Conner back.
That was a promise he had made in front of the statue a few months
earlier. His son would come back. And that would be his ultimate
revenge against the Justice League.
