Seth was concerned. There were new generals of Grado. And apparently this bragging fool was one of them. This was unacceptable. Protecting Eirika was certainly his priority but this fool was in the way.
Who would fault him for killing him?
Following this line of thinking Seth sprung into action. Sheathing his sword and retrieving his lance in the same movement, He urged his horse into a sprint.
This had to be timed right or all was lost. Seth adjusted his position in the saddle. Waiting until Valter swooped down to meet him, Seth used his new position to launch him over the wyvern's head and thrust his lance forward.
His forward motion wrenched the lance out of Valter's throat in a whip-like manner.
The fall certainly hurt but hearing the dull thump of Valter's remains hitting the ground a few seconds after him made it worth it.
And so the tale was changed.
Always bugged me that Seth didn't use his lance to at least hurt Valter. Considering that Seth was always an S-rank lance user in my runs made me further speculate. I'm off to go play the very game this is from. Enjoy
