Poor Sarah was spoiled quite rotten
And recited a spell long forgotten
Strange creatures then came
The goblins by name
And thus was our story begotten

Her brother was snatched in a flash
By the goblins, who instantly dashed
An entrance was made
By a king in a cape
And a manner quite brazen and brash
.
Sarah learned that she had to traverse
In an alternate universe
Where time passed in a haze
In a devilish maze
Lest she forego her brother or worse
.
Our Sarah, she stuck with her quest
And it seemed she might just pass the test
Because she was true
She amassed quite a crew
Of a dwarf, and a dog and the rest
.
From Hoggle she learned to be brave
From Ludo she learned she could save
From doors, to be smart
And to always have heart
She learned from that Didymus knave
.
But the king was determined to win
Jareth wanted to make her world spin
But the peach was a trap
Which she broke with a tap
Of a chair against the glass she was in
.
From then on she moved with great speed
As all of her time she did need
Though the king fixed the clock
Three off thirteen he'd knocked
She made sure she'd see Toby freed
.
At last when it seemed they had won
Sarah had to go off on her own
To fight the last boss
Throwing off albatross
Because that is the way things are done
.
The king had one last ditch attempt
But he failed and they both fell unkempt
And as the world fell
He begged her to dwell
As one desperate try at a tempt
.
But all ends well as you will now see
They're both back home with their family
And though they are far
From where their friends are
If they wish it, they'll answer their plea
.
Now our fairy tale credits should crawl
Though I'll always be stuck in the ball
And I think it's quite clever
It's only forever
And really not that long at all

Hey everyone!
Sorry for the prolonged absence, college has really been kicking my sorry behind and I haven't had time to write any fic lately. I have been reading a great deal though and thoroughly enjoying it. It never ceases to amaze me how talented you all are.
To be completely honest this was all because of a competition in a Youtube video. They said to comment with a Labyrinth inspired limerick to enter for a chance to win a hand sculpted model of Jareth and I couldn't help myself. I went rather overboard but I had so much fun! So there!
I hope to be more active this semester, so wish me luck with my workload!
