Hello everyone. Here is my April fools day story for you. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)
It is a sunny day in the Amazon rainforest, where the Spix Macaw tribe are busy doing their own thing as they are either playing with their children or busy making sure that the entire tribe is safe from possible threats. Amongst these birds is a young male Spix Macaw called Tiago, who is the younger brother of his sisters Carla and Bia.
He is busy preparing himself for a prank against his own father, knowing that his father very well as he knows about his fear of spiders. Tiago decided to use the spider for the prank, especially when he knows that it will play a big role in his attempt to play his April fools day prank on his own father, who is called Blu and the husband of Jewel.
Speaking of Jewel, Tiago knows that he is going to be in big trouble if his mother finds about him being behind the prank. It was something that is still on Tiago's mind, despite his many attempts to put the thought aside, which proved to be quite unsuccessful as the thought kept coming back to him again and again.
"Ok, this should be everything, I hope that this works" said Tiago as he managed to finish his prank. "This is definitely going to be good".
After making sure all preparations are completed, Tiago began to fly out into the forest in hopes of finding his father. It took quite some time, until he finally manages to find him as he tells him that he wants him to come with him back to the hollow. Although confused, Blu followed his youngest child back to the hollow.
The two arrived at the hollow, where they landed in their home as Blu saw that everything was cleared up. The sight of it made him smile, knowing that Tiago has likely managed to be responsible for a change. He was even told by Tiago, himself, that there are no spiders in the tree hollow. The mere word sent cold chills up Blu's spine.
He continued to inspect the hollow, only to see a pile of leaves as this only confused Blu even more. He investigated the pile of leaves, which he removed only to find a tin can that had been hidden beneath the leaves. While this was happening, Tiago had managed to sneak his way out of the hollow as he waited for the big moment to come.
Having no idea that Tiago had managed to sneak away, Blu opened the tin can and he looked inside it. He gave a scream as he saw a huge spider in the tin can. What made matters worse, is the fact that the spider had managed to crawl onto his right wing as it began to crawl up his entire body, while Blu was trying to stay calm.
"April Fools Day, dad" said Tiago as he laughed silently. "This has to be my favourite prank".
Luckily for Blu, he had managed to get the spider off him as he began to chase after Tiago. It was clear that, Blu wanted to tell Tiago off as he knew that it wasn't a very good prank to pull on him. Tiago just laughed as he knew that, he had just pulled a prank on his own father on the day that he enjoys the most: April Fools day.
Oh dear, Tiago is definitely in big trouble for pranking his father with a spider.
