"thanks for letting me stay here, I really didn't want to sleep on the couch next door" Ben says as they break away from the hug
"Well I'm just going to take my stuff upstairs" Ben says heading up the stairs "might take a shower"
"So have you told him about" Retta starts as she looks at Carbo with a knowing look, with Ben coming in for Ruby's birthday they hadn't got a chance to tell him yet about Emma moving in
"Uh not yet" Carbo says looking at her with a nervous look "But he looked tired, maybe I can just put it off" he says as Retta looks at him "Okay I'll tell him when he comes back down"
"Is there anything to eat?" Ben says as he walks into the kitchen wearing shorts and a tee shirt as he opens the fridge
"Well nothing has changed there" Retta says smiling at Ben as she gives Carbo a look "and speaking of change"
"What's going on?" Ben says turning around to look at his two best friends as they look at each other
"There's something we need to tell you" Retta says looking at Carbo "Honey"
"Um, well it's like this, something happened and" he says as they hear the front door open
"Hi guys I'm home" they hear Emma yell from the living room "You wouldn't believe the day I had"
"Home?" Ben says giving Carbo and Retta with a confused look on his face "okay what's going on"
"And you didn't think that was something you could have just told me mate, we skype every weekend" Ben says as him and Carbo stand in Carbo and Retta's old bedroom
"Well how do you just come out with that kind of information" Carbo says trying to defend himself
"Hey Ben, Emma's living with us now" Ben says still giving him a glare "That seems simple enough to me"
"Well I guess that was one way of bringing it up" Carbo says as Ben continues to look at him
Meanwhile Retta and Emma are sitting downstairs on the couch "I hope this isn't going to be to awkward" Retta says looking at Emma "Apperently he had told the rest that he was coming, but he wanted to suprise Carbo and I"
"No it's fine, it was just a little weird seeing him at first but it will be fine" Emma says smiling at her reassuring
"Where did you find that movie?" Ben says with a terrified look on his face as Carbo turns back on the lamp in the living room
"Retta rented it" Carbo says as he gives an equally scared look as he turns around to Ben, the girls had gone out for a girls night and they had stayed in and watched movies
"I'm going to have nightmares for weeks now" Ben says as he looks at the TV that is now turned off as he lets out a yawn "Well I'm going to bed, I am so tired" he says as he starts to get up off the couch
"Yea it is getting late, the girls said not to wait up" Carbo says getting off the couch as he follows Ben upstairs
"The boy's must already be asleep" Retta says as her and Emma walk back into the house a couple hours later
"Well it looks like the lights still on in Ben's room" Emma says as they come up the stairs "I think i'm going to go talk to him some, maybe help to make things less awkward"
"Okay good luck, I'm going to go on to bed" Retta says smiling at Emma as she walks into her and Carbo's room
"Hey Ben, I just saw your light on and thought we could talk" Emma says cracking the door to the room before seeing Ben asleep on the bed as she smiles walking over to turn off the lamp covering Ben up more with the blanket before walking out of the room closing the door behind her
